he didn’t like asking him to look away but.. maybe one day he’ll have the confidence to let him look.
after a couple minutes he finishes changing, “all done”
"uh, yeah. yeah, of course." nick said, before turning onto his side on his bed, facing away from charlie.
he didn't like looking away, but he wanted to respect charlie's boundaries.
he nods. “yeah, i’d like that” he says softly, leaning up and kissing him a couple more times before he got up so he could go over to nick’s closet.
he picks out a hoodie and sweatpants and turns to him. “uhm.. can you turn around?” he hated how insecure he still was
"do you want to borrow some clothes of mine for the night?" they could settle in his bed once charlie had something more comfortable to wear. they could watch a movie or something along those lines to help take charlie's mind off things.
he shook his head. “you being here is more than enough” he clings onto him more. he never wanted to let go. he just always felt so calm and safe with nick
"so are you, even if you don't think so." nick replied softly as he continued to kiss him gently.
after he pulled away, he spoke up. "is there anything i can do? anything you need that i can provide?"
"don't say that. you do." nick told him softly, he tried to keep smiling as charlie looked up at him, but that fragile, broken gaze made it incredibly hard to.
"well, you don't have to. and you'll never have to, because i'm not going anywhere." nick said as he leant their --
“i don’t deserve you..” he says softly, snuggling up to him. he lifts his head a little so he could look up at him. he sniffles, “i really don’t think i would’ve been able to cope with all of this without you” which thinking about scares him +
"you have nothing to apologize for, char." nick told him softly, grabbing his fleece blanket from the end of his bed and wrapping it around the two of them.
he leant down a little and planted a kiss to the top of charlie's head, shortly followed by another one. "i'm here. --
he settled himself comfortably on his boyfriends lap, wrapping his arms around him. “i’m sorry..” he says again, hating how he always seems to go to him whenever he felt this way. he felt like he bothered him with all his problems. nick probably +
"of course." nick replied, before looking over charlie's shoulder at his mom in the hallway, who gave him a few nods as well, before disappearing from view.
he moved over to his bed and sat down, gently placing charlie in his lap, so he could curl up as much as he wanted to. --
“okay” his voice broke which only showed how bad it truly was. and it was only getting worse.
he clung onto him tighter. “can i please stay here tonight?”
nick held him close and frowned, his own chest aching as he could tell exactly how much charlie was hurting frmo the tears and his tone alone. "it's okay. it's okay." he reassured charlie softly as he never once let him go or loosened up his grip.
"i've got you. i'm not --
he immediately clung onto him, burying his head into his shoulder as tears ran down his cheeks. “i’m sorry” he sobbed into his shoulder. he didn’t even do anything, yet he was sorry. he felt like he was being such a burden and he hated it. it only made +
it was nick's mom that opened up the door, her features instantly turning worried when she noticed charlie all torn up at their doorstep. she welcomed him inside and walked up the stairs to nick's room with him.
once she opened nick's door, she announced to him that he --
charlie didn’t like talking about his feelings. he didn’t like making nick worry about him but maybe by not talking to him he was only making him worry more, as well as making his own problems worse by not talking about them.
that night he had a bad argument +
@aberrantrunner
things had been different lately. not so much with nick, but charlie. nick had noticed little changes in his behavior, but never mentioned too much about it, feeling like charlie wouldn't like that much.
that didn't mean, however, that he didn't worry. he --
