@otherhappyplace These people who choose to shit on others for doing things solo, or choosing to do ANYTHING by themselves really just showing off how uncomfortable they are with their own company.
@otherhappyplace You can also make something based on healing plants and flowers! I have a linocut print from @thistlethistle_ that has plants and herbs to ward against anxiety. Jasmine, sage, dandelion, lavender, verbena, mullein, yarrow... there are so many from different cultures.
@otherhappyplace I've crafted sigils from the Younger Futhark runes before - you take runes that mean a combination of what you're hoping for, then find a way to combine them along their lines for a personal sigil.
@otherhappyplace When I see amazingly colored insects/critters, I always wonder what those amazing patterns look like to their eyes, and how they perceive the world. What do these festive bbs look like to each other?

@otherhappyplace I could write a thesis about this shit. Horror is such a universal human experience, and exploration of that primal sensation and understanding our fears and humanity through it is so essentially HUMAN. We need horror to understand ourselves - we have always told horror stories.
@abbygov my employer has a summer home on the east coast, a winter home on in the southwest, and a summer weekend home in Cape Cod. it's the most egregiously cartoon villain bullshit, while I cannot afford to have an apartment on my own.
@otherhappyplace I've made a physical list of all the artists names and handles who I've found on Twitter, so I can hopefully keep track if things keep going sideways. This shit is so stupid. <3
@MarisasHorror My dad was on the ground, and he wasn't bleeding at all. But when I got close to him, his entire face was rearranged - his features were scrambled like a Picasso, but he was still blinking and moving his mouth trying to speak.
@MarisasHorror At 3 or 4 years old, dreamed in b&w that my dad was leaving work. I was across an empty street, waiting for him, and it was raining. Several dark figures attacked him out of nowhere with wrenches and tire irons - I cried and ran to help him and they scattered 1/
