@a_idume Let me tell you a story!
Imagine you have #20M and your friend said you should borrow him some money letβs say 15M and despite so many pressure he refused to pay till the point you were completely broke. Then one day he showed up and pay 3M, would you tell him thank you?
@dej66881970@TosinOlugbenga Lol, I should think when I can replicate.. Why didn't Glo think and did the same thing MTN is doing.. I should think when I can advance on your idea π
You can't fix Nigeria problem even if Nigerians agree to fix the problem. You created an e-voting app but the government would have to give you a license.
The government controls everything! Everything is not tech!
What if Nigerian tech came together to build tiny tools that actually fix Nigerian problems?
Not startups, not pitches, just working prototypes.
eVoting, politician profile log, power outage maps, and any other tools suggested by the community.
Small tools with real impact and open source.
This will allow us know what is needed and how to solve our society problems with tech.

You just landed in a new cityβ¦
You need:
β’ A place to chill
β’ Somewhere to shop
β’ A barber/stylist you can trust π
Whatβs your go-to move?

@PoojaMedia If you tell a student if you answer question 1, you will get a higher mark than question 2, all the students will read only for question 1.
Do with this information what you can!
Bro I am begging you! I know your initiative is good but the tech market is too small for the people you want to empower.
Can you start giving something else like a sewing machine, clippers etc.
Hi Davido,
This is the Laptop Guy.
My mission has been simple: to keep asking for help until as many Nigerian youths as possible can own a laptop and have a real chance to learn tech and build a future for themselves.
I know you may have seen my quotes or the open letters where I tagged you. But I want to start by saying this clearly, you do not owe us anything.
When Don Jazzy donated 20M to the project, it gave life to the vision. At the current cost of about 260k for a second-hand 8th generation laptop, that amount could only provide about 84 laptops. So far, we have distributed 44 laptops, and by next week we will give out another 10, bringing the total to 54.
But along the way, we realized this project had to become bigger than just giving out devices.
The 10K Laptops Project has now grown into an NGO called Tech Access Foundation for Youth Empowerment. The goal is not just to hand out laptops, but to create real opportunities.
Now, every laptop beneficiary must first be enrolled in a tech training program before receiving the device. This ensures the laptop becomes a tool for learning, growth, and a better future.
Beyond that, we now offer fully funded tech scholarships, and we have already established a small tech hub where over 400 students are currently learning tech skills completely free of charge. Out of those students, 10 will be receiving laptops next week to continue their journey.
Unfortunately, since Don Jazzyβs donation, there has been a lot of noise on this app, insults, accusations, and attacks on my personality. But through all of that, my focus has remained the same: to make sure this project achieves a purpose so meaningful that every single person who supports it will be proud of what it becomes.
You might have heard many Negative things about the #10kLaptopsProject, all of them are completely false. But the truth is visible. Every activity, every laptop distributed, every progress we have made is documented under the hashtag #10kLaptopsProject.
I know the comment section after this post might become chaotic again. But for the sake of the young people who genuinely need these opportunities, I am choosing to take this chance and reach out.
This is my last resort.
Davido, I humbly ask for your support. In the middle of the challenges facing the country today, empowerment and skills remain one of the few real hopes for the youth.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

My problem is with web developers to be honest. You created a note taking app as a website. So anytime I want to write a note I will open the website πππJokes on you man.
