Here's a little #ThrowbackThursday since I've missed several Wednesdays now haha. Here's some unreleased concept art for a potential Card-Jitsu game circa February 2011. Guess which element!
This Sonic Event ended on the @theHiveMC about a week ago, but I really enjoyed all 6 party games. I would love to develop games like Ring Dash and Red Light Green Light. Chao Rescue, Ring Royale, and Badnik Range all had much more detailed maps than I would have ever imagined.
@AFrozenTundra now has a Music Jam. Soon to come to Club Penguin Rewritten again as well. With previous Music Jams, especially in original Club Penguin, I'd always enjoy how the contour of the sky would change to a more pinkish/orangish color.
Each of you should own a .com and have a website.
Even if you're a streamer, podcaster, blogger, creative writer. Pick a theme and get yourself a .com.
Then post content that does one of 3 things:
1) Inform - i.e. news, research
2) Educate - how-to's
3) Inspire
As I think back to my experience playing original Club Penguin post-2012, I always remember how realistic party rooms were designed and detailed. The shipwreck, moss, reef, flamingos, nature, and shading/lighting in these pictures always made me feel like I was right there.
One thing I felt that often went underappreciated in Club Penguin was the design and animation of every Card-Jitsu Card. I believe there have been over 1,000 different, distinguishable cards. Here are 8 of my favorite designs.
@n_haar now looking back, I do feel that the number is a stretch. I considered slight differences in cards but you’re right in that art was definitely reused. That being said I feel like there’s also so many that I haven’t seen at all.
