constantly appalled by the inability of people to use their common sense and argue against it when asked why they don’t. case in point, my experience at the metro station in bangalore less than five minutes ago -

4) oh, and absolutely no q’s or lines are maintained because obviously why would they be when you can just butt into the line and get your way. security and metro station personnel have either given up or don’t care about that either.

(cont.) “if you want social distancing then go somewhere else” - implying that it’s irrational to follow the norms in this country or anywhere else.

3) literally no one, and i mean no one, gives a damn about social distancing so obviously everyone at the one counter were sticking to one another. when asked as to why the people around me weren’t following any social distancing norms, one replies (cont.)

2) out of the four available counters (each counter possessing the ability to have four people manning it), only one counter was available with one person at the counter.

1) asked the customer care representative where the tickets were being sold and she got angry for being asked such a question when there’s no one manning any of the ticket counters and no instructions are displayed for what counters are operational.
