Posting content even when you have nothing to say does 3 things:
it forces you to:
1) communicate your thoughts more clearly.
2) go gather some data.
3) develop discipline and build a habit.
Imagine a poker player who reads every strategy book, watches every World Series of Poker replay, memorizes pot odds tables, and then never sits down at a table.
They would know more theory than 95% of recreational players, yet they’d have exactly zero practical skills.
Here’s how to lose every client call:
• Talk for 45 minutes
• Never ask questions
• Explain every feature
• End with “Let me know”
Congratulations.
You’ve built the perfect system for staying broke.
I made the mistake of sending my manager 2 a.m. ideas on WhatsApp, thinking it made me look productive.
However, it only blurred the line between work and family.
Instead, share your ideas after lunch the next day.
They'll carry more weight.
Client acquisition framework:
Visibility → Trust → Opportunities → Clients
Visibility (No. of posts) builds trust.
A fraction of those people will give you opportunities to teach them.
And a fraction of those opportunities will turn into paying clients.
If you're struggling to write on X, do these 3 things:
1. Write about the topics you're known for in a formal setting.
2. Share the vulnerable moments you've experienced and what you learned from them.
3. Turn the comments you've left on other people's posts into full posts.
At 11, I was laughed at because I couldn’t speak English.
Today, I get on sales calls with clients from the US and Europe.
The language on sales calls? English.
All I did was change my environment.
Funny how people spend more time preparing than changing their environment.
At 27, I understand why we were encouraged not to get into drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes at 15.
It's more than just the health risks.
It's the crutches you build.
You lose the ability to "walk" through life without them.
Then one day, you learn how to walk all over again.
Just because you've never written before doesn't mean you can't write.
If you've:
• solved a problem in your life
• worked through a difficult situation
• learned something that could help someone else
That means you have a story and it’s worth turning into a post!
no matter how many GPTs come, dating is the one industry AI won’t be able to replace us in.
the fear of approaching a woman and getting over that requires another man with lived experience to guide you through it.
yeah, AI can write texts but can it make you approach her?
The real luxuries of building a one-person business are:
• A client who trusts your recommendation.
• An audience that buys without a sales call.
• An email list you own.
• Work you can reuse 100 times.
• $ that doesn't stop when you take an off.
Staying in a job you've outgrown and constantly wondering what if costs more than leaving ever will.
Additionally, the wondering builds up every single day.
Since leaving is one scary decision, staying, therefore, is a thousand small regrets stacked on top of each other.
2 years ago, I said yes to something scary:
I invested in an online course and started building a business on the side while I still had a 9-to-5.
Consequently, that one decision changed the next 2 years of my life.
You're one small "yes" away from your own version of this.
If you think entrepreneurship gives you more free Netflix time.
It doesn't.
In the beginning, it gives you more work.
However, the difference is every hour compounds into something you own instead of someone else's business.
That's what makes the hard work worth it.
Disciplined men get everything in life.
So how do you become disciplined without the mental load?
You stop treating every goal like it’s life or death.
Turn every must-have into a nice-to-have.
Ironically, you’ll stick to it 10× longer and achieve it 2× faster.
Most beginner ghostwriters think they need a better portfolio.
I’d argue they need a better prospect list.
The quality of the people you reach out to matters far more than another polished sample.
If you are always whining, expressing your dissatisfaction with the world, there will be more reasons for you to be dissatisfied.
The opposite is, of course, also true – a positive attitude is the most natural way of changing your life for the better. You get what you choose.
