The rate of 70/kwh could be from govt approved vendors for subsidy. So, you pay extra to get subsidy and u pay less without subsidy. Govt and vendors have a nexus.😃

@kalpitj15 @EvryPaisaMatter @kalpitj15 - The Cost I mentioned is inclusive of Panel/structure/Inverter. Go with a reputed firm like Tata or Luminous and check for Solar panels. There won't be other cost as such. But yes, check with Elec dept for Net metering before installation.

@kalpitj15 @EvryPaisaMatter @kalpitj15 - check the number of units consumed monthly/yearly. 1 KW solar produces roughly 1200-1300 units annually and cost 40-45k. So, you can calculate the ROI. Panels need no repair/replacement. Only washing. Using solar since 2019. Happy to ans ur doubts.
