Celebrating Pride 12 Years of Telangana, 29th State of India 🇮🇳
Once they asked, “What is there in Telangana?”
Today they say, “What is not there in Telangana?”
Telangana isn’t just another state.
It is Warangal’s stone history.
It is Medaram Jatara, Asia’s biggest tribal festival.
It is Bathukamma, where we don’t just do pooja with flowers
we worship flowers like God.
It is Palamuru’s migration pain.
It is students on roads.
It is Marri Chenna Reddy, Prof. Jayashankar’s, Kaloji's dream, KCR’s nirahara deeksha, Srikantha Chary’s sacrifice, and countless people who waited for years with one hope.
No one handed Telangana to us.
We worked.
We fought.
We bled.
We won.
On June 2, 2014,
we didn’t just get a new state.
We got our pride back, we got our jobs back, we got our rights back, our voice, our identity.
I didn’t grow up watching this from far away, like me millions of other students
they grew up inside this revolution.
Earned with blood.
Built with pride.
Jai #Telangana
Digital India They Said!!
Srinivas, an MGNREGA worker from Komatipalli village, Mahabubabad, Telangana went to Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple and got his head tonsured.
But after coming back from the temple when he tried to register his attendance through the NMMS attendance app, the app failed to recognise him.
After trying everything, Srinivas requested a female co-worker next to him to let him borrow her hair. And then the facial recognition software, allowed his attendance.
Listen to how the entire group erupted into cheers & laughter about the stupid technology that decides their wages.
And only yesterday, I saw a minister claim that India will surpass China very soon in AI 🙏🏽😂
No wonder the Galgotian robot dog was our shining example of our exemplary technologies advances at the AI Summit.
We are still not able to fix basic issues on apps that impact lakhs of people but give sermons on AI advancement.
Thanks for watching One Piece #1163!
I did a small amount of key animation for the final sequence of Robin and Saul, starting with Saul's burst of tears up until the shot of the straw hats on the hill, as well as the panning shot when the credits start. I unfortunately had trouble with the wave splashing cut, so another animator kindly took over on the genga.
Massive thank you to Koyama-san, Aoki-san, Irie-san, Hashimoto-san and the rest of the team for trusting me with such an important scene. When reading the manga it meant a lot to me, and I wanted to do my best to reflect Robin and Saul's emotions. I hope I did it justice, and that you all enjoyed it!
