First of all, heartfelt congratulations on your new success and responsibilities as MLA and for your role with Tamil Nadu sports development initiatives through SDAT. Wishing you great success in supporting and developing sports in Tamil Nadu.

I wanted to reach out and share my journey in aviation sports and soaring as an Indian glider pilot.

I am originally from Chennai, and as a child from Chennai, I discovered the dream of aviation sports at a young age. I became one of the youngest sailplane pilots and was the first Indian to fly a sailplane at the age of 14.

Later, I earned an FAI sporting code as an Indian glider pilot and continued representing India in international aviation and soaring activities. Much of my work and achievements received recognition internationally and within UK aviation communities.

I am reaching out because I strongly feel many children in Tamil Nadu and across India are still unaware that aviation is not only a career path but also a sport. Soaring, gliding, and air sports are still largely unknown, and I hope more young people can discover these opportunities.

If possible, I would be honoured if you could consider covering this story on your page. tto help inspire the next generation and create awareness that there are sporting opportunities beyond traditional games and also in the skies.

I would be happy to share photographs, achievements, and details about soaring and gliding if needed.
