My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”

Most salaried Indians switched to the New Tax Regime and think they can't save tax anymore. WRONG. 🚫

Keeping in mind the rising fuel costs in the country, I bought an MG Windsor EV a few months ago. I genuinely believed I was making a smart decision. Unfortunately, what followed has been one of the worst ownership experiences of my life.
About a month ago, while returning from my son's school, a speeding Mahindra Thar rammed into my car from behind. My vehicle was moving at barely 30–35 km/h when the impact pushed it into an Innova ahead. The rear section of the car suffered significant damage.
The very same day, I handed the vehicle over to MG's service center for repairs.
From that point onward, for weeks, I kept making the same phone call:
"When will my car be ready ?"
Every time, I received a different excuse.
Last Saturday , I was informed that the repair work had been completed and only the insurance company's delivery order was pending. I was assured that the order would arrive on Monday and the car would be handed over immediately.
Monday came and went.
By afternoon, having heard nothing, I decided to visit the workshop myself.
And that's when the real story began.
The service advisor responsible for my vehicle didn't even know where the car was parked. After searching across three floors, we finally discovered it in the basement.
What I saw there left me speechless.
The car was in worse condition than it had been immediately after the accident.
At that moment, I realized that my biggest mistake wasn't the accident it was buying an MG. In the last 20 years, I have owned vehicles from almost every major automobile manufacturer. I've dealt with repairs, insurance claims, and service centers countless times. But I have never experienced such disorganization, negligence , and lack of accountability from any company.
Keeping a customer's vehicle for nearly a month, providing misleading updates, and then not even knowing where the car is parked is not poor service it's complete disrespect for the customer's time , trust, and money.
As I was leaving the workshop, I told the advisor "Brother, sell this car for whatever you can get even if I have to take a loss of a few lakhs. I don't have the courage to bring it home anymore. If I ever have to come back to this workshop again, I might genuinely lose my mind."
People may debate how good or bad the MG Windsor EV is as a product.
But as far as MG's after-sales service is concerned, my verdict is final.
This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any automobile company.
If you're considering buying an MG vehicle, don't just visit the showroom. Spend some time at their service center first. The difference between the two may help you make a much better decision.

Mumbai might have just got India’s best city hotel.
Roswyn, a Morgans Originals absolutely blew me away. Damn, what a service culture.
This is going to be my default hotel for BOM transits now. It leaves behind most of its peers by quite a margin.
The suites are beautifully designed. Every artifact and painting tells a story from old Bombay, and the hotel genuinely feels like one of those rare places where the hospitality alone makes you want to come back every single time.
Some amenities are shared with Fairmont, but the people here are absolute gems. The team seems exceptionally well trained in hospitality and guest handling.
Brenda from Guest Relations was an absolute delight and managed everything for us beautifully throughout the stay. Duty Manager Narendra ensured everything remained seamless at all times.
And Fi’lia is truly a piece of art. Abhishek makes sure both the food and hospitality stay top notch.
Total kudos to the entire team.
Ritesh Agarwal took a $2 billion loan at 24.
SoftBank owned too much of OYO.
He wanted control back.
Borrowed against his own shares to buy them out.
Bankers thought he was insane.
"You're 24. This is $2 billion."
He signed anyway.
Then COVID hit 3 months later.
Every hotel in the world shut.
OYO's revenue dropped 60% overnight.
$2 billion debt. Zero revenue. Global pandemic.
Laid off 5000 people in one day.
Cried in the all hands meeting.
Didn't hide it.
Survived anyway.
Filed for IPO in 2023.
Still paying back the debt.
The 24 year old who borrowed $2 billion.
Then watched the entire world shut down 3 months later.
Still standing.
Manoj Madhusudhanan took a ₹1.86 crore home loan from ICICI Bank.
As collateral, he handed over his original property documents. Every homebuyer does this. You have no choice.
ICICI Bank sent those documents to their storage facility in Hyderabad via courier. Somewhere on that journey — Bangalore to Hyderabad — the documents vanished.
Gone. Originals. Irreplaceable.
When Manoj found out, ICICI Bank had one answer: it was the courier company's fault. Not ours.
He went to the Banking Ombudsman. They told ICICI to publish a public notice about the loss and pay him ₹25,000 for the trouble.
Twenty-five thousand rupees. For losing the original documents to a ₹1.86 crore property.
Manoj sent a legal notice. ICICI denied any mistake.
He went to the NCDRC.
The apex consumer court looked at the facts. The bank had taken custody of the documents. The bank had chosen the courier. The bank could not hand that liability to a third party and walk away.
ICICI Bank — India's second-largest private bank, ₹9 lakh crore in assets — was held liable. Ordered to obtain reconstructed certified copies, issue an indemnity bond, and pay ₹25 lakh in compensation.
One loan. One lost file. One bank that blamed the courier.
Save this — if your bank loses your original property documents, they cannot blame their courier agent. The documents were in their custody. The liability is theirs. File at your district consumer forum. The law is on your side.

Every time, organisation strength comes out clearly. I think lot of businesses can learn a lot from BJP as an organisation. Strategy with deep focus on Execution with detailed planning is what getting BJP these results for so long. I think this template can be applied to any project.
1. Just got off a call with @UnSubtleDesi. I couldn't be happier for her and both of us couldn't help but discuss the harrowing days of post poll violence in West Bengal in 2021. So I am going to share what happened five years ago just so ppl know what happened. #WestBengal2026.

It broke down my entire life with eerie accuracy.

Here are 7 prompts you should try ↓
🚨 Raghav Chadha joining the BJP with 7 AAP MPs (including Swati Maliwal & Harbhajan Singh) is dominating the news. But everyone is missing the real game-changer on that list: Sandeep Pathak.
He isn't your typical politician—he's a Data Scientist, a Cambridge Ph.D., and an ex-IIT Delhi Professor. 🧠
Ever wonder how AAP pulled off a 92-seat landslide victory in Punjab out of nowhere, with almost zero ground infrastructure? It wasn't magic; it was pure data. 📊
📱 The "Missed Call" Masterstroke:
Remember AAP’s campaign asking the public to give a missed call to choose their CM face? Everyone praised it for transparency. But the actual game was different. It was a genius data-mining tool to pinpoint exactly who the potential AAP voters were.
While traditional parties rely on local presidents (who are often corrupt and gatekeep influence), AAP bypassed them entirely. Using the gathered data, Pathak helped build micro-level committees in every area.
These committees were perfectly balanced (Women, OBC, SC/ST, General) with one specific job: Track local public emotion and winnability.
Instead of throwing blind rallies, AAP had digital dashboards. If a seat was a 50-50 toss-up, the data told them exactly which CM face the locals preferred. They would drop a targeted rally right there, flipping the swing seat and securing the win.
Sandeep Pathak was the mastermind behind this massive, data-driven execution. Now, think about the sheer volume of behavioral data and human emotion mapping he holds—and where that data is going next. 👀
Cheese from India makes its mark globally…
India made an impressive debut at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026, which is a vibrant international competition for cheese and dairy products. Four Indian products won medals, including 1 Super Gold, 2 Golds and 1 Silver.
The Super Gold was won by Eleftheria Gulmarg (Brie Style), the Golds were won by Yak Churpi-Soft, Nordic Farm, Leh, Ladakh and Eleftheria Brunost (Whey Cheese) while the Silver was won by Eleftheria Kaali Miri (Belper Knolle Style). Congratulations to Mausam Narang and Thenlay Nurboo.
Such successes strengthen India’s artisanal dairy sector on the world stage.
One of India’s most underrated hidden gems Abheygarh Fort, Khetri. Nestled in complete isolation in the Aravalli Hills and beautifully managed by Alsisar Hotels, this place is pure peace and royal luxury.
Just 150 km from Delhi, yet feels like a different world. Also a gateway to the Khetri Leopard Safari.
Visited by my family calm, untouched, and truly special. A must-visit heritage escape! 😍
