Today, while travelling from New Delhi to Patna on @airindia flight AI 1749 (12 October 2026), seated at 20D, I noticed something unusual on the right wing during landing that raised concerns about its condition.
I may be mistaken, and it could well be a normal part of the aircraft’s mechanism. However, when it comes to aviation safety, there is no harm in being extra cautious.
I humbly request @airindia to have the concerned wing inspected and clarify whether everything is in order.
Passenger safety must always remain the highest priority.

Creativity Has No Age! 🌟
Truly impressed by the remarkable creativity and artistic talent displayed by the Class IX students of Mayo College Girls’ School. Their beautiful tribute to Bollywood reflects imagination, dedication, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail.
This is a particularly proud moment for me, as my niece Arunima, my wife’s sister’s daughter, played an instrumental role in bringing this wonderful creative project to life.
It is heartening to see such young minds expressing themselves with confidence, passion, and originality.
Proud of you, Arunima! Kudos to the entire team and their teachers! 👏❤️#Sharukhkhan

An Idea - Establishment of an Indian Health Organisation (IHO)
Core Principal-IHO should integrate, anticipate and represent—not duplicate, regulate or implement
A Sovereign, High-Level Institution for Global Health Intelligence, Strategic Health Security and International Health Cooperation. IHO would not become another health department. It would become India’s strategic global-health brain and international interface connecting the country’s existing centres of excellence, anticipating external health risks, bringing world-class expertise into government decision-making and projecting Indian health knowledge internationally.@PMOIndia@narendramodi@MoHFW_INDIA@OfficeofJPNadda@JPNadda@whoindia2019

The findings provide a clear perspective for Bihar corporate Social Responsibility should not track financial wealth when the primary goal of the initiative is to lower disparities in infrastructure and social services. There is a significant gap between the high demand for social support and the low amount of funding available for each resident in Bihar, which justifies a more balanced distribution across different regions but Bihar must also improve its internal processes to become “CSR-ready” that is preparing initiatives that are ready for funding, maintaining open oversight plus tracking specific results. The discussion is shifting from the total amount of money that corporations distribute to the specific locations where they use it, the reasons for selecting those areas and the precise impact that the activities have. CSR acts as a supplement to government funding in locations where the improvement to the community is most significant for every additional unit of resources.
The Himalayas are sending us a warning. Is the world listening? 🌏
The catastrophic floods across the Nepal–Tibet Himalayan region, following a massive glacial collapse, are another reminder that climate and ecological risks do not respect political borders.
The Himalayas are not merely mountains—they are Asia’s water tower, sustaining nearly two billion people across multiple countries.
And this places a special responsibility on China.
As a global superpower with enormous economic, technological and environmental influence—and as the upstream custodian of a vast part of the Tibetan Plateau—China must demonstrate leadership not only in development, but also in climate responsibility, Himalayan ecosystem protection, transparent hydrological data sharing and real-time transboundary early-warning systems.
What happens to glaciers, rivers and ecosystems upstream can have consequences for communities far downstream—from Nepal to Bihar and the wider Gangetic basin.
This cannot become a debate of one nation versus another.
It must become a call for shared responsibility.
Greater power must mean greater responsibility.
Greater development must mean greater sustainability.
And shared rivers demand shared accountability.
The Himalayas belong to no single nation—their survival is a shared Asian responsibility.
There can be no superpower on a destabilised planet.@UNFCCC@UNEP@WMO@UNEP_AsiaPac

2015 → 2026 | Nepal & Bihar: Neighbours by geography, brothers in adversity. 🇮🇳🤝🇳🇵
The present situation in Nepal takes me back to the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquake.
Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, Bihar responded swiftly. The Health Department, Government of Bihar mobilised medical teams, doctors, paramedics, ambulances and medicines to provide emergency medical assistance across the border.
I had the privilege of serving as the Deputy Team Leader of Bihar’s medical response team to Nepal, while working as a Medical Officer and General Secretary of the Contract Doctors’ Association.
These photographs are not merely memories—they remind me of an enduring lesson in public health:
Disasters recognise no borders, and preparedness cannot wait for disaster to strike.
Today, as Nepal once again faces a severe natural calamity and Bihar remains vigilant, the lesson of 2015 is even more relevant:
Early Warning → Prepared Health Systems → Rapid Medical Response → Lives Saved
Bihar stood with Nepal then. That spirit of preparedness, compassion and “पड़ोसी भाई” continues to guide us today.
Borders define nations. Humanity defines neighbours. 🇮🇳🤝🇳🇵

Nepal’s devastating flash floods remind us that disasters do not stop at borders . With rivers flowing downstream from the Himalayas, Bihar is strengthening preparedness and health-system resilience.
Emergency services, ambulances, referral systems, hospitals, essential medicines, blood supplies, disease surveillance and uninterrupted care are vital to saving lives.
Early Warning → Early Preparedness → Rapid Response → Lives Saved
For flood-prone Bihar, a resilient health system is central to disaster preparedness. Nepal highlights the risk, Bihar remains ready. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families, and prayers for those still missing. 🙏

Sir , This is a beautifully written book which the author explains why we don’t merely exist like a machine rather we actually experience being alive and most important part is the question which evolve around this is how does the physical brain create the experience of being “me”?
Privileged to attend the launch of Project AWESOMM_HER today in Patna—an important initiative focused on advancing women’s health and strengthening responsive healthcare delivery.
It was enriching to engage with fellow public-health professionals and stakeholders and share perspectives on translating innovative ideas into meaningful, measurable outcomes for women.
Every investment in women’s health is an investment in healthier families, stronger communities and a healthier Bihar.
Congratulations to PSI & State Health Society, Bihar and all partners associated with this initiative.

A truly enriching experience to engage with healthcare professionals during the NQAS Internal Assessor-cum-Service Provider Training Programme.
Had the privilege of delivering an interactive session on “Behavioural Science and its Application in Quality Assurance & NQAS.”
Quality in healthcare is not achieved through standards, checklists and protocols alone. Sustainable quality improvement ultimately depends on human behaviour—understanding why people act the way they do, identifying behavioural barriers, and designing systems that make the right action the easier action.
The session explored how concepts such as Behavioural Insights, Nudge Theory, Cognitive Biases, Framing, System 1 & System 2 Thinking, and Behavioural Reinforcement can be practically applied to improve NQAS implementation and build a stronger culture of quality in our public health facilities.
From compliance to culture.
From instructions to behaviour change.
From quality on paper to quality in everyday practice.
Grateful for the enthusiastic participation, thoughtful discussions and opportunity to share and learn together.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India

Subject: Suggestion for Rational Utilisation of Official Residential Bungalows of Chief Postmasters General in Metropolitan Cities
Respected Hon’ble Prime Minister,
I respectfully submit a policy suggestion for your kind consideration regarding the optimal utilisation of valuable Government-owned land and residential properties belonging to the Department of Posts.
In several metropolitan cities, official bungalows allotted to the offices of the Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) occupy large parcels of prime urban land. Over the years, the functional requirements of public administration have evolved significantly, while India’s metropolitan cities continue to face an acute shortage of commercial, office and public-service space.
It may therefore be worthwhile for the Government to undertake a comprehensive review of such properties and assess whether some of these premises can be redeveloped or repurposed for higher public value, while ensuring that adequate and dignified official accommodation continues to be provided to officers wherever operationally necessary.
A policy of rational utilisation could include:
* Redevelopment of underutilised bungalow properties into modern multi-storey office complexes.
* Development of commercial spaces on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis to generate sustainable non-tax revenue for the Government.
* Construction of integrated postal service centres, digital logistics hubs, citizen facilitation centres and office spaces within the redeveloped complexes.
* Utilisation of the additional revenue generated for strengthening India’s postal network, improving employee welfare, and modernising postal infrastructure.
* Preservation of heritage buildings having historical or architectural significance, while optimising other properties that do not require such protection.
Such an initiative would contribute towards:
* Better utilisation of scarce urban land resources.
* Increased revenue from Government assets.
* Modernisation of the Department of Posts.
* Reduced maintenance expenditure on large legacy residential properties.
* Improved public service delivery through modern infrastructure.
I humbly request that the Government may consider constituting an expert committee comprising representatives from the Department of Posts, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Finance, NITI Aayog and other relevant agencies to examine the feasibility of this proposal and identify suitable properties for redevelopment in the larger public interest.
I am confident that such an initiative would be aligned with the vision of efficient governance, prudent asset management and the optimal utilisation of public resources for national development.
With highest regards,
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Abhishekk @PMOIndia
