Order 1: The delivery kept getting delayed, with the ETA repeatedly pushed back. Support eventually offered a ₹100 coupon for the inconvenience. But the issue wasn’t about ₹100 — I wanted the order delivered within a reasonable time or an alternative resolution.

Order 2: The food arrived stale and smelling bad. When I raised a food-quality/safety concern, support essentially gave me a standard response saying taste/quality can be affected during transit and that they would share the feedback with the restaurant. No real resolution.

I don't want money or coupons. I want accountability and a resolution.

What concerns me more is that customer support told me they couldn't reassign the delayed order or cancel it, and ultimately “we can't do anything.”

If a customer receives stale food that smells bad, who takes responsibility for the food-safety concern? And if an order is severely delayed, why can't Zomato offer a meaningful resolution beyond a coupon?

@deepigoyal — please look into these two cases and, more importantly, how your customer support is empowered to resolve such issues.

It's about commitment, ethics and professionalism.
Issue is the candidate has informed on joining date, he could have been open in communication from the beginning.
