Okay, let’s declare it once and for all: removing reservation is impossible. Reservation is supreme. Reservation creates, sustains and destroys the three worlds. Fine! I submit to these eternal truths.

But even then, do people who feel excluded have no right to protest? Do children who believe they are being treated unfairly because of alleged injustices committed centuries ago have no right to ask questions?

They are asking for discussion and debate. Prove them wrong. Democracy gives them not only the right to question the system, but also the right to place their facts and arguments before the nation.

And about “wasting time”... Entire Parliament session this season got wasted. So what? Would you therefore demand that the parliamentary process itself be scrapped? Plenty of things in our system consume time without producing results. The answer is not to retreat into a comfortable den and declare that protesting against injustice is itself a “waste of time.”

People who care about society and its future organise, speak up and ask the system: Why are we being punished? What exactly is our fault?

And yes, dismissing an argument as a “waste of time” simply because you don’t have the facts to counter it is perhaps the finest example of wasting time.

आज राहुल के एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस ने BJP को फ्रंट फुट पर ला दिया। राहुल ने जिस तरह से प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में तू तड़ाक किया ठीक वैसे ही BJP के टॉप लीडरशिप ने मंत्री से लेकर प्रवक्ता तक को निर्देश दे दिया है कि राहुल को उसी के भाषा में जवाब दीजिए।

इसका एक उदाहरण राहुल के बाद किए गये जेपी नड्डा के प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस भी दिखा। जहां जेपी नड्डा ने राहुल को कहा "राहुल गांधी मत भागना हम तैयार हैं। सदन के भीतर हम हर विषय पर चर्चा के लिए तैयार हैं बस तुम भागना मत"
