@AmazonHelp I am responding, but your copy and paste replies are not very personal or sympathetic to the situation Amazon has caused me. If a company’s customer service tells me to do something I’m not going to go against them and say they’re wrong. Don’t understand how I was to know?

I wonder if @MartinSLewis can shed some light on my situation with @AmazonUK - surely they cannot deny you a refund when they provided false information?

This is absolutely unacceptable and completely wrong that I am being charged and penalised for the errors of YOUR associates. I’d like this escalating asap and for my refund to be processed.
I received return emails, and got in touch with customer services twice to check I wasn’t going to be charged again, yet today I have been charged again. I’ve been told that despite the information I received being wrong and there is NOTHING Amazon can do to refund me. (2/2)
