I have launched the actual test of this AI Glass that I built to help blind people and people with visual impairments
I started testing it directly on the face of a person with a visual impairment to see how it would work in real life👓

And what amazed me the most is that after the blind person wore the glass, he said that for him, it was amazing

Let me tell you a story…

Sometimes in 2018, I was still very new in Police. In the village where I was posted, a man am came to the station one day reported a case. He’s a business man who specializes in charcoal production and he supplies “Oyinbo” abroad. By virtue of that, he had so many workers who were more of non-indigenous people.

After listening to his complaint, the DPO at the time detailed me to investigate the case accordingly. During my investigation, I realized everything he had told the DPO were all lies. He practically framed up the suspect. When he saw that I had discovered the truth after listening to the suspect and with the evidence available, he kindly requested to speak with me “in camera.”

He put hand in his pocket, brought out some new Naira notes and squeezed it in my hand saying I should help him teach the guy (suspect) some lessons. I counted the money and it was 20k. To be honest, I was tempted, cause that’s half of my monthly salary at the time. 🤣

Well, I took the money, went straight to the DPO and told him everything including how the man “gifted” me 20k to help him teach the suspect some lessons. The DPO was furious, and ordered his detention. He started making series of calls to a lot of dignitaries, and after so much pressure and pleading, he was later released.

Two weeks later, one of his customers came to the station to report him and he was invited. The DPO then asked my colleague to take charge of the case, but the man insisted he wants me to handle the case. Innocent me wey de off that day, naso Oga call me.

As soon as he saw me, he said “ehn ehn, Okanmi ti bale, Officer yi’oni paro”.
Just imagine I took that money from him that day and did what he wanted me to do for him.
