A5:
I got 514*3 + 1311 = 2,853
My quick strategy was to get a 500 number * 2 and then get something close to 1000 to add to it.
A6: I think that this is creative because it gets student to think about math facts while trying to achieve a goal!

I also got 9 squares but I think the more time I spend on it I can find a way to make it so I can get 10. I think this creativity is thinking outside of the box and using trial and errror.

A2:
I think being creative in math class incorporates more than just paper pencil and the lesson. Manipulatives like blocks, dice etc. In addition using websites like Kahoot, Quizlet live, and others I think are a creative way to use math in the classroom.

A1:
I have been a intern in a few classrooms. The best math class that I’ve been in was focused, respectful, inquisitive, and fun. Got their work done on time, gave undivided attention during the lesson, and got things done so we could have fun!
