Slower paced than ACOTAR but still a solid start! 4/5⭐️

Strong badass FMC, which I like
Dorian my love 🫶🏻 (but that ending tho 😭) I was also kept getting torn between him and Chaol 🥹
SJM is always good at leaving breadcrumbs so I’m excited for book 2!!

Finished Onyx Storm, now I’m so confused.. 😦
First half was meh, second half was GREAT!! Got all the feels, intense scenes, much clearer plot direction. Even made me fall for Xaden harder.

And then there's the ending... I was like "WHAT did I just read???"
So, 3.75 stars it is.

So far, I like the fmc Violet, not as annoying as Ferye frm acotar lol. The mmc Xaden hmm just a little crush. The other mc Dain Aetos, he gives me butterflies BUT he’s kinda Tamlin 2.0
