Right on cue, Ireland’s national broadcaster, RTÉ, has published disinformation on their Instagram about Macklemore.

They have, of course, not mentioned his noted history of antisemitism (the 2014 Jewface). Instead, they have published disinformation that he has been accused of this solely for saying ‘Free Palestine’.

I am so very serious when I say Irish journalists have completely and utterly abandoned the principles of their profession on the issue of antisemitism and Israel/Palestine. I know many of you follow me here and I hope you hear this clearly: your patently dishonest coverage disgraces yourselves and our country. I mean every single word of that very sincerely.

You are not journalists on this issue, you are spin doctors. And through outright falsehoods and critical omissions, you have weaved a web of profound harm that the Irish Jewish community will feel for years.
