Just got blocked here after he probably saw my threats 🤣

Here’s the facts. I messed up. I trusted this guy because of his relatability and “honesty” and didn’t follow my payment protocol, with my preview only link/watermark. I take full responsibility for this.

But things got me even more heated when I contacted the brand directly and they told me they never even received my final content I made for them 🥲

That crosses the line.

The brand paid $900 for content to him and never even received the final versions.

I gave Dupree an excellent deal and went way below my rates because I wanted to build a long term relationship with him. Submitted all my content on time, and in return received 3 months of excuses. He said he had family problems, that the brand didn’t pay him, and then he said his phone broke. 🥲

Even through it all, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said, “No worries, just keep communicating” and even offered a split payment plan.

As of today I just received the block!

Of course, im pissed. I didn’t follow my protocol, but I am even more pissed for the brand. I felt bad for the brand and I offered them the revisions and final content for FREE.

Just another reason to choose the creator, over the middle man.

There’s so much more to share, and i’ll be making a video with all the screenshots and lies 😈

I think a lot of brands are creating clothes with a straight thin body in mind and include bigger models to reach a bigger demographic. I wish we could see more lines that focus on creating clothes which accentuate average and curvaceous bodies.

Such a well articulated article! Working in the modelling industry the standard has always been skinny. Plus size modelling is still slow (and I think a marketing ploy) And mid size models are really the unspoken exception.
