Thank you to all who carved jack-o'-lanterns and hauled them to Abingdon Square on Halloween night. Cheers to all who stopped by, adding to the fun and fright! See you at the Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 1
Bring your carved pumpkin to #abingdonsquare beginning 5:30 on Halloween and we'll light it for you. The Square will be beautifully decorated by Hudson River Flowers. Kids can trick-or-treat courtesy of Li-Lac Chocolate and more! Music compliments of Peter Lewy.

#abingdonsquare Light in the midst of darkness. A simple, little miracle, more than two millennia ago: when only enough oil to keep the Eternal Light flame burning for one night could be found... but that oil lasted for eight days.
The #Abingdonsquare holiday tree, a slender, 20-foot-tall fir, quietly slipped into the Square last week and now brightens the night with a record 7,250 lights.

Monuments in our neighborhood reflect the challenges, heroism and resilience that we are seeing in our neighborhood and the world today.
Wishing all our neighbors and friends of @abingdon_square to stay strong and safe during these difficult and uncertain times. 💪The #abingdonsquare is open: please maintain social distance if you are enjoying some outdoor time. ☀️#abingdonsquarepark
