q: why are phones trying to get crazy 20x 100x zoom with better and better low light performance?
I like the improvement but I can't see any sane person saying "yeah my phone can capture a clear image from 20-100m in the dark of night"
@kvlly I use it regularly but it for stuff like "this is my code here is an error what I did wrong" or for "how do I change label color for chart js", copy pasting answers feels boring, I like the problem solving aspect of programming
@danmurrayserter it would be hilarious if senete used gpt to generate the questions for sam. I think we should have guidelines for independent developers too anyone with enough compute power can run a less powerful version of gpt or dall e.
@UniverseIce also apple's limited device range lets developers to optimise for one instruction set.
if I want to make a game for ios/ipados or macos I'll use metal api
but in Android alone there are opengl, opencl, vulcan who's support isn't equal for the 10k individual devices running Android
@UniverseIce I am using Samsung's f23 a lower price ver of m23 and it's not laggy after 6 months, a display model or new phone haven't adapted to user behaviour will stutter even a beast of a computer will lag if you suddenly fill its ram without giving it time to allocate memory efficiently
@UniverseIce I have gcam on my f23 but it's not the go to camera app I don't often take raw and the pro mode gives more fine control than what what is available with camera2 api
@yolodzn_@getpeid@MonstorTor 1. there are albums in the library tab
2. I don't know why you need nested folders but you can create multiple albums with the same photo as an alternative
3. basic crop, markup, filters, and most common adjustments are there for free which editing feature are you looking for?
