Reuben Abati: Saying President Tinubu has not done anything to alleviate poverty is not true, it is mischievous. Stop misinforming people.
Ojy Okpe: Who is misinforming people? Did I miss anything?
Rufai Oseni: Who is misinforming people? Who are you talking to?
While I was taking my morning walk today, I saw a mallam selling Pentazocine injections.
This is an opioid, a dangerous drug that should be sold only in a proper pharmacy or hospital with a prescription.
The discussion about it being original or fake is another topic entirely. How did we descend to the point where people hawk opioid injections? States have to step up and create their laws to cover the gaps in NAFDAC.
May be she wants to sell the property or decided to marry another man after some years cos i see no reason why u wouldn't allowed your husband to buried in his house
A painful family disagreement has reportedly erupted between late gospel singer Toluwanisings' father and his wife over where he should be buried.
While his father wants him laid to rest at his house or taken to Ikirun, where his late mother was buried, his wife reportedly prefers a cemetery in Ibadan.
Speaking with deep emotion, his father explained that he lives in a rented single room in Ikirun but insists that if his son cannot be buried at his home, he should be brought to Ikirun and laid to rest in his own father's house, just like his mother.
Unless sheโs the one who built the house, this makes no sense. Itโs not easy for her to see her late husbandโs grave but sheโll be seeing his cars every day right???

NOTICE PURPORTS TO DECLARE DETHRONEMENT OF OLUWO OF IWO, OBA ABDULROSHEED AKANBI
A notice dated October 24, 2026, and attributed to Dr Takinlade Kehinde Samuel Akintoye has declared the purported traditional dethronement of the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, also known as Telu I, and announced the withdrawal of his royal privileges.
The notice accuses the monarch of undermining Yoruba cultural heritage through his public utterances, altercations with fellow traditional rulers, alleged desecration of his crown in public and criticism of ancestral traditions linked to Ile-Ife.
The purported decree lists several sanctions, including a permanent ban on sitting on the throne of Iwo, a prohibition on wearing the royal crown and regalia, and the withdrawal of authority to preside over meetings of the Iwo Traditional Council or represent the traditional institution.
It also threatens spiritual consequences against the monarch, his spouse, children and anyone who supports his defiance of the declaration, invoking God, Allah and Olodumare.
The document was issued in the name of HIMES Aare Gbogbo Oba Ile Oodua Atewonro Orunto Odidimade and identifies Dr Takinlade Kehinde Samuel Akintoye as its issuer.
