TIP is a good stock if it fits into your personal bespoke strategy because the books are good but entry price is important as always. An Investor must have his/her own clear strategy when buying, selling or holding a stock.

How you approach a dividend stock is different from how you approach a growth stock or how you approach a stock that combines both dividend & growth in varying proportions of either more of growth than dividend or more of dividend than growth.

As l have always said, you cannot be guessing or doing follow follow in this market. This is not LSE or NYSE. You must know what you are doing on the #NGX - THE UNIQUE ANIMAL. It is more than EPS, PE, DIVIDEND YIELD, YR ON YR GROWTH, BOOK VALUE, ROE etc. here though those metrics are important but those alone are not enough.

I cannot say it often enough, as far as the NGX is concerned, YOU ARE EITHER AT THE TABLE OR YOU ARE ON THE MENU. A friend was jisting me yesterday of a stock he has that has done 1000% and l said to him the value of that stock is nowhere near where it is in value because it is pumped and if he doubts me, he should try to sell it on Monday.

As always, you have a choice to either gamble your way on the NGX or correctly learn the path.
