@twostraws@mikaela__caron@swiftovercoffee I remember how easy it was for me to pick Swift up because of the little Haskell I knew. By 2016 I was writing new features in rewriting older code to Swift, and I havenโt written Obj-C since then.
They say โBe careful what you wish forโ, but it works out all right sometimes.
@twostraws@mikaela__caron@swiftovercoffee In 2013 I heard about a language called Haskell and used it to play around. I remember thinking โI wish I could write more functional code in my day jobโ. 2014 was the first time I went to SF (for AltConf) and watched Swift being introduced.
