But God! The @Delta pilot skilfully flew us, with minimal turbulence into the DR. We landed. I cried. Rain. Floods. Hiccups at the hotel. But alive and safe. AND gate agent Lekesha met us when we returned to Atlanta. She had been worried about us. Just Amazing!!! 3/3

We couldn't get a refund so we decided to go INTO the storm. Lekesha, ATL terminal E gate agent was amazing. She made sure we and most of our luggage got on the next flight. I was terrified and questioning my whole existence. I started praying. 2/3

My week has been an adventure. A surprise 50th birthday trip for my dear friend that would lead us right into Hurricane Fiona's path would prove that awesome people still exist. After surprising our friend at the airport, the 9 of us learned our @Delta flight canceled. 1/3

Best night ever. It's my birthday and I'm at the @Braves game. Not only did Acuna hit 2 HR's, but I got an Austin Riley foul boul. My seat neighbor helped me out. My 50th is certainly turning out to be fabulous.

We’re preparing to reopen APS schools for in-person learning Mon., Jan. 10. We must all do our part and modify our behaviors to keep students learning in person when possible. That is what APS is striving to achieve, and we must balance that with the health and safety of all.
