Honestly, this whole Manchester United season ticket fiasco should have mainstream media shouting from the rooftops. It’s a disgrace on so many levels and should be called out as such by the numerous ex-United talking heads that populate football media in this country.
Good luck to the fans uniting for this. It's something all fans should be supporting. Whilst the game has changed in recent decades and has become a beast commercially, it should not result in clubs being ripped away from the communities & local fan bases on which it was founded
@GPqrsty1ee@nairn_calum@LFC But that 5% share their tickets with lots of people and are always there when times are tough. They shouldn’t be pushed out for tourists
@GPqrsty1ee@nairn_calum@LFC That’s you. But the majority aren’t like you. I have a cup season ticket at United because it suits me better. Surely the club sell tickets to fans/members or someone can get you a ticket
@GPqrsty1ee@nairn_calum@LFC Millions won’t go on a rainy Tuesday to watch an efl game against Plymouth. Millions won’t turn up twice or three times a week when the team aren’t doing too well. Also if the planes aren’t flying where are these millions coming from
The ONLY reason legacy fans go to Old Trafford is out of habit and tradition. The way they are treated by the club is fucking disrespectful. No other business could get away with treating their customers like utter scum.

Manchester United have been accused of treating their fans as “suspects” following a clampdown by the club on potential ticket touts.

#MUFC have been accused of treating loyal fans as “suspects” as supporters’ groups united to slam the club’s handling of an attempted crackdown on ticket touts.
Fan groups support club’s desire to root out touts but growing concern genuine supporters being unfairly targeted by “ban first and ask questions later” approach.
Spoken to fans caught up in operation. Their views in here.
United not publicly commenting while process remains underway but club’s stance fully documented

You’re quick to call us the best! You’re quick to show us off! You’re quick to post videos of Crystal Palace away when we got hammered 4-0 on Wednesday night and we stayed for 30 mins after the game singing with a 4 hour trip home! You want to ban these fans!
Many attempts have been made in recent years to bring together influential supporter groups that can prioritise the often underrepresented voice of Manchester United’s match going supporters.
The recent actions of Manchester United have finally achieved what those efforts could not: a unanimous, historic and unprecedented unification of MUST, TRA, MUYSC, The 1958, all Fans’ Forum representatives, more than 100 Official Supporters’ Clubs, Red News and United We Stand.
Earlier today, a message was sent to Manchester United emphasising full support for the Fans’ Forum’s recent letter relating to the premature suspension of Season Ticket Holders without required evidence.
In summary, we have reiterated the demands made by the FF (detailed below):
• Immediately halt the ongoing suspension process.
• Immediately retract all unproven suspensions.
• Confirm the current number of Season Tickets.
• Explain its apparent policy of reducing the number of Season Tickets.
• Confirm that all reclaimed Season Tickets are reissued as Season Tickets to supporters on the Season Ticket waiting list.
Once an official written response has been received from Manchester United, it will be shared in the interests of transparency and fairness. The potential consequences of the Club’s response will also be shared as soon as they have been confirmed.
Breaking: Man Utd supporters’ groups issue joint statement calling on the club to pause clampdown on ticket touts, claiming it’s targeting innocent fans who now fear losing their season tickets. Full story @mailsport shortly #mufc
@laurennUTD It’s actually more like we don’t like how you used last years shoes so after we’ve sold you those new ones we’re taking them back and no money back either
BEN SCALLAN compares a news segment on RTÉ from 2016 and 2026 on a 30-degree heat wave to demonstrate just how far down the rabbit hole of climate hysteria the broadcaster has gone:

She wants to know the climate action plan.
The best plan I can think of is to stop listing to alarmists, abolish carbon tax, stop building cycle lanes on busy roads, get rid of the bottle scheme and start digging for our own oil.
