My favorite trick or treat experiences from last night:

- the group of 5 teen girls who came dressed as Disney Princesses, my niece seeing them and saying Aurora is her favorite and hearing the girl dressed as Aurora say to her friends excitedly, “I was her favorite!!!”

As a parent of an older child whenever I see "give me your potty training tips" on mom groups I hesitate to give my biggest tip because I know it's not what people want to hear with their 2 year olds but....wait. You have to wait. It is so much easier when they're not 2.

It’s debut day!! Voyage of the Damned comes out TODAY, and I’m still pinching myself.

It took me 7 long years in the trenches and 5 books but I can’t believe the day has come where I can walk into a shop and see my novel on a shelf (PLEASE tag me if you spot it in the wild!)
