why did the philippines end up with @Viber ?

Viber has been the “unofficial” messaging platform in the Philippines 🇵🇭but lately this platform has been increasingly inconvenient.

I have sent MULTIPLE tickets and the issue has not been resolved. Being in a country that has been dependent on this service feels like being hostaged. I wouldn’t mind using viber only if you had quick resolution of this BUT NO, IT HAS BEEN DAYS and TECH SUPPORT IS VERY LACKING.

3. THE WORST PART is when my number was blocked by viber as i was identified as a “spammer” or my number was used for spamming. I am even on viber plus (paid subscription) and fully verified with email and all.

2. last week the app has been buggy now working and hanging, unable to scroll through messages. I thought it was just me but after comparing notes with other users, they were experiencing the same issues
