It is obvious that the Nigerian Navy has marked a significant milestone in its history, capturing a grand ceremonial sunset, formal dinner, and awards ceremony held yesterday, June 4, 2026, at the Naval Dockyard Limited in Lagos. Through the lenses of storytelling photography, this event stands still as a symbol of hope and identity, showcasing the gallantry that our maritime security has been yarnning for over seven decades of service.

The event, which stands as a hall mark of the Navy’s 70th-anniversary celebrations, was notably graced by the indefatigable Honourable Minister of Defence, General CG Musa OFR (Rtd). His attendance underscored the federal government’s commitment to maritime security and the welfare of the armed forces across borders. General CG Musa OFR (Rtd) was a central personality at the commemorative event whose vast in Knowledge and leadership in cording the affairs of the military cannot be over emphasize.

Following this, a formal dinner and awards night celebrated the dedication of naval personnel, recognizing their contributions over seven decades of service that remains indebted in our archives. Also in attendance to the record break's was the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a democrat par excellent, who joined other dignitaries in celebrating the Navy’s platinum jubilee in all ramifications of life.
