A bond is only as strong as it's weakest link.
Today, I was deeply honoured to be invested as Vice-Chancellor of KNUST @KNUSTGH . My heartfelt gratitude goes to Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the Governing Council, the Investiture Planning Committee, colleagues, students, alumni, friends, partners, and every well-wisher whose presence and support made this occasion truly memorable.
This honour belongs to all of us. Together, let us build on our rich legacy, embrace innovation, strengthen partnerships, and work collectively to transform KNUST into an even greater institution. There has to be a serious conversation in Africa about the child groomers, and inappropriate comments to and about children. This type of 'I will marry you when you are older' is highly disturbing , especially coming from adults in positions of power. This is not OK!
WHAT HAS SEDINA TAMAKLOE DONE?
***************************************
In 2019, investigated one of the issues which eventually became a charge against Tamakloe.
MASLOC, under Sedina Tamakloe, procured 350 vehicles for GPRTU.
The vehicles' prices were highly inflated...(1/4)
Aboa konkontibaa mentality.
A whole Member of Parliament looked at a basic school pupil and thought, “Yes, let me call her my wife.”🤮
Very disgusting and inappropriate!!
Again, I stand with my opinion that issues of sexual assault should not be settled in the church!
Church should hand it over to the authorities. It's a criminal offence and should be treated as such.
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
GHANA HAS A PEDOPHILIA PROBLEM
And we need to start having open conversations about this otherwise it’s going to get worse and we will keep failing our children.
That man was clearly grooming a child in front of other kids, he called her beautiful said he’d marry her in future and promised that she too will become an mp one day. Mind you this is a child in basic school and he’s a grown man who is almost 40. Disgusting
There’s not a single defense of this, which is refreshing. In the past, nonsense like this would have been met with humor or explanation. It’s important that gradually we are condemning these pedophilic tendencies, at least online.
Imagine paying for your daughter to visit parliament to explore the countless opportunities that exist for her in future as a bright young woman.
Then here comes a crusty MP, limiting her future prospects to a wife, HIS WIFE
He looked at a child and saw a future of sex with her
This is how pedophilia culture festers in our society. An MP telling a primary school girl he’ll marry her in the future isn’t harmless, it’s how we normalize adults making romantic comments to children. Children deserve boundaries, not marriage jokes. This is disgraceful
Today, I submitted this petition to the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament.
This is not about politics or personalities. It is about the standards we expect from those entrusted with public office and the responsibility we all share to protect our children.
Every child who walks through the doors of parliament should leave feeling inspired, respected and safe.
I have every confidence that the Speaker will give this petition the consideration it deserves in the interest of Parliament and the Ghanaian people especially its dear children.

Hon Mohammed Yakubu, MP of Ahafo Ano South East
A 9 year old girl is not your future wife! She is a child.
This isn’t funny. It isn’t harmless. It’s grossly inappropriate!
Children deserve better from those elected to lead.
If this makes you uncomfortable it should.
