@GregAbbott_TX @SenCreighton I’m a very conservative east Texas republican and this makes no sense to me. Public schools take all kids and private schools get to choose who they take . Why would tax payers give more money for private schools than public schools.

@GregAbbott_TX parents need to get more involved , get elected to school boards or just VOTE. vouchers will segregated schools . School choice does not mean the parents get to pick . Think about it , If you owed a private school , you would only let in the best kids. The rest would be sent off
