BREAKING GOOD NEWS : Midnight Horror Averted as Troops Crush ISWAP Kidnap Plot Targeting 46 Students in Bornoπ₯π₯
Security forces under Operation HADIN KAI, alongside Nigeria Police Mobile Force personnel, foiled a midnight ISWAP attempt to abduct 46 students at the Federal Government Girls College, Monguno, Borno State.
The terrorists reportedly infiltrated the school with the help of suspected collaborators but were met with overwhelming resistance from troops and reinforced by the Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force, forcing them to flee without kidnapping a single student.
All 46 students were rescued, evacuated to Kinnasara Barracks, medically examined, and confirmed safe. However, some students tragically lost their lives after being hit by sporadic gunfire during the exchange.
Security forces have launched an operation to track down the fleeing terrorists and identify those suspected of aiding the attack.

Another major disruption to terrorist logistics! πͺπ³π¬
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have intercepted 675 litres of suspected smuggled petrol believed to have been headed to terrorist elements in Adamawa State.
The fuel, packed in 27 jerrycans, was recovered by troops of the 247 Reconnaissance Battalion during Operation Desert Sanity V along the Muva route in Mubi North LGA.
On sighting the troops, the suspected smugglers reportedly abandoned the consignment and fled into nearby bushes. ππ¨
Every litre denied to terrorists is one less resource for evil. ππ₯
Kudos to our gallant troops for staying on the offensive and frustrating those who keep trying to sustain terrorism. π³π¬π
I came across what appeared to be a suspicious fuel-loading activity while refuelling at AA Rano on the outskirts of Kano. More than 100 jerrycans, each with a capacity of 50 litres, were being filled and loaded into this white vehicle.
@GaduwamaHA@OfficialStora25 The license plate is officially valid but remains completely unassigned to any vehicle, meaning the FRSC has a serious case of negligence or fraud to answer for. This should be address and look into.

Operation Fansan Yamma troops achieved significant gains across the North West between 27 and 28 June 2026, eliminating two terrorists, rescuing one abducted victim, arresting eight suspected terrorist accomplices and logistics suppliers, and recovering 110 stolen cattle.
In Kaduna State, troops rescued an abducted victim after a gun battle, while another victim was found dead.
They also tracked down the attackers of Dariya Village, killing two terrorists and seizing a motorcycle, ammunition, charms, and other items.
In separate operations, two suspected medical aides to terrorist groups were arrested in Zamfara, while six suspected accomplices were apprehended in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna.
The recovered cattle were handed back to their owners, as the Joint Task Force reaffirmed its resolve to intensify operations against terrorists and other criminal elements, while urging residents to continue providing useful intelligence.

Arrival of the Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) and other major refinery completion components for the Azikel Refinery at the Onne Seaport in Rivers State has marked a significant milestone in the realization of one of Nigeriaβs largest privately-owned refinery projects located at Obunagha-Gbarain in Yenagooa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The Crude Distillation Unit, regarded as the heart of every refinery, serves as the central processing facility through which petroleum products are distilled and refined. The massive components, measuring about 250 feet in length and weighing approximately 135 tonnes, arrived aboard a specially chartered vessel alongside other critical equipment, including Naphtha Reactors, gasoline distillation towers, crude heaters and other final installation components.
The development is seen as a major boost for Bayelsa State, which has for decades contributed significantly to Nigeriaβs economy through crude oil production but has continued to experience limited industrial infrastructure.
The Azikel Refinery project is expected to stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities and strengthen Nigeriaβs local refining capacity. The project has also been described as a landmark indigenous industrial investment capable of transforming the economic landscape of the Niger Delta.
Commendations have continued to trail the resilience and commitment of Dr. Azibapu Eruani and the management of Azikel Group for driving the refinery project to its present stage, with many describing the refinery as a lasting legacy of indigenous enterprise and industrial development in the region.
As movement of the refinery components from the seaport to the Bayelsa project site begins in the coming weeks, expectations remain high among residents over the socio-economic benefits the refinery is expected to deliver upon completion.
