Admin, if you really want to support teachers right now, give them time. They need encouragement too, but true appreciation for them right now is give them time to do their job effectively.

School districts may think they are just making small changes or adjustments, but consider their overall impact as they flow down to admin, teachers, and even parents. A snowball at the top of the hill can be destructive by the time it rolls downhill!
I have no idea what school will look like in the Fall, but whether itโs in-person or online, it will NEED to include tons of SEL and healing-informed work to deal with staff, student, and family trauma. Compassion before curriculum.
