i woke up today to something you hardly see in the solana trenches anymore.
to preface, i lost 70k+ on a meme i relaunched because i got rugged on the original. spent 5 months with my artist and a core group of day 1s that stayed through a 4.2m ATH to a 9k low. i ran out of funds and had to https, but they still believed. and i never stopped posting.
3 weeks ago i made a series of posts about the story and the state of the trenches. those posts now have over 1M+ views combined. since then the community, the content, and the chart have all grown exponentially.
but today something happened that i didn't pay for. didn't ask for. didn't negotiate supply for.
one of the biggest OG KOLs in the space called https because he genuinely likes the meme.
no payment. no side convos. no "supply deals." just a real person seeing real culture and saying something about it publicly.
this matters more than people realize. so many builders have great ideas and great memes but don't have the finances to pay for callouts that are usually impure and inauthentic anyway. the beautiful thing about crypto is that we're all connected through CT and anyone anywhere can raise awareness through community, whether it's bagworking, viral posts, or just showing up every day.
i can't explain how grateful i am. not just for the call for the love of the game, but for what it represents. in an https market where everything feels transactional, someone looked at what we built and supported it because they believe in it. not because they were paid to.
this is what tokenized culture is all about. it's not always about the money. it's about the movement. and the fact that this happened organically, after 5 months of grinding, is proof that the solana trenches will prevail.
