Passengers are being asked to give cabin baggage to be placed in the cargo hold because the flight is full. These bags were originally cleared as cabin luggage and may legally contain items such as power banks and lithium batteries, which are not permitted in checked baggage.

When I asked your staff how they ensure these bags are cargo-safe, the response was: “We can only ask the passenger.”
That is not a safety protocol that is guesswork.

I do not understand why AirAsia keeps repeating this practice, and more importantly, why the Malaysian aviation authorities continue to allow it.

Placing bags that may contain lithium batteries into the cargo hold is extremely dangerous and puts the lives of everyone onboard at risk. This is a well-known fire hazard and a serious breach of aviation safety standards.

This must be investigated and stopped before it leads to a disaster.

Let’s settle this once and for all. I’ve been clear from day one: I’m against free land policy in ANY inhabited island. Addu, Huvadhoo, Hulhumale, etc… It’s unsustainable and the opportunity cost is way too high.

ބިމުގެ އަގުމަގު ކުރެވެމުން އެދާ ގޮތަކީ ރާއްޖޭގައި އޮތް އެންމެ ބޮޑު ބޭއިންސާފު. އާބާދީއާއި، ވަސީލަތްތަކާއި، ހިދުމަތްތަކާއި، ފުރުސަތުތަކާއި، ވަޒީފާތަކާއި، އޮފީސްތަކާއި، މުދަލާއި މި މާލެއަށް ޖަމާކުރުމަށްފަހު މި ރަށުގެ ބިމުގެ އަގަކީ އެއިން ގޯޗެއްގައި ދިހަބާރަ ބުރީގެ އިމާރާތެއް އަޅާ، އެ އިމާރާތް އަޅަން މިއަގުމަގުކުރުމުގެ ތެރެއިން ލިބޭ ލޯނު ދެއްކޭނޭ ކުލީ އަޅުންތަކެއް އެތަންތަނަށް ވައްދާ އެ ބައެއްގެ އުމުރު ހުސްވެ ނެތިދާންދެން އެމަގުން އެނބުރޭ ބުރެއްހެން އޮތްކަމެއް.
