The reason beautiful women have become such a problem for the left is because beauty itself has become a problem. It is not diverse. It is not equitable, and it is certainly not inclusive. Though all races produce beautiful women, not all women are beautiful.

A society that makes an idol out of beauty is better off than one making an idol out of "body positivity." Idolatry is a sin either way, but the first gives homage to God’s ideal. The second gives homage to upending it.
For all who used to complain that the swimsuit issue was too risqué, how would they have reacted to the knowledge that one day SI would swap out their lust-inducing models for women who were too corpulent to excite anything but antipathy in the mind of an average 13-year-old?
“It’s not an opinion whether a baby is a human life... I don’t need to prove it. We all know it… Everyone knows [babies] deserve not to be torn to pieces.” @andrewklavan
Like so many of the technologies that society can no longer live without, abortion is not necessary. It is merely convenient. And deadly (in more ways than one).
New from the Abort73 Blog. Read or Listen: "Who’s the Murderer? Mom, Dad, or the Abortionist?" A response to the disagreement between @scottklusendorf & @sgruber91 over #equalprotection bills.

"Culture is also downstream of politics… And abortion is in fact the best example for this. The median number of illegal abortions before 1973 in America was 98,000. Within just a handful of years following Roe, the annual total of murdered babies was 1.6 million." @sgruber91
“For a long time, the fact that the birthrate has plummeted below the death rate, has seemed to me not only the most important news story there is, but undeniable proof that something is terribly wrong with our world.” @andrewklavan
Over the last few years, virtually all pro-life ballot initiatives have failed. “We might wish it weren’t so,” Klusendorf writes, “but the relentless drumbeat of stories claiming that women will die from abortion restrictions or be prosecuted for suffering miscarriage resonates not only with the general public but also with marginally pro-life voting blocks.” And donors.
It is not the hearing that matters. It’s the doing. Which is why James says that pure and undefined religion is this: Going to church and evangelizing the lost. Scratch that. It’s actually caring for the helpless and remaining unstained by the world.
Those who promote wicked causes do not wait for opportunity; they create opportunity [and] those seeking to advance the banner of abortion are far more willing to do the necessary legwork than those who oppose it.
We are rapidly moving towards an abortionist-free future... The abortion pill—delivered by mail—is putting both abortionists and abortion clinics out of business [but] If there is no abortionist, and you [won't] charge the mother, how can you prosecute the crime of abortion?
“Ambient cultural messaging [insists] there is something reckless or soft-minded about starting a family... ‘Bet on yourself! Now is the time to take risks!’ for some reason means ‘Found a start-up’ but never ‘Start a family.’” @AbigailShrier
“Rising unhappiness is occurring mostly among young adults… (but) [@JonHaidt and @ZachMRausch] demonstrate that cutting social media use for just two weeks could reduce the incidence of clinical depression in young adults by a third.” @arthurbrooks for the @TheFP
Though these are not names that will mean anything to the average American, both men carry significant clout within pro-life circles—which is why it’s distressing to see them publicly at odds. Distressing, but not surprising. This is the era of ideological infighting, after all.
