Dear Ummah Twitter,
Assalāmu ʿAlaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuhu.
I beg you for the sake of Allah, if you come across this post and have any amount you can spare, please do not ignore it.
I am currently taking care of a young widow who survived a severe burn accident and is undergoing medical treatment and tests.
At the moment, she urgently needs ₦142,000 to complete her tests and continue the treatment and dressing of her wounds.
If only 142 people donate ₦1,000 each, this bill would be cleared. Of course, any amount you can afford will also go a long way in helping her.
I sincerely appeal to you. She is a widow with children, and I can no longer carry this burden alone. Please help me help her.
You can check my media for previous posts about her condition and journey so far.
May Allah reward you abundantly for whatever you give, ease your affairs, and never put you in a position where you have to beg for help.

WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT, WHILE BEING PREGNANT 👀👀
SUPERFETATION: GOD DEY CREATE SHA!
When the Womb Whispers Twice
Dear woman,
Come closer, because the body, in all its gentle rebellions and tenfder insistences, often tells stories that astonish even those of us who spend our lives listening to it. And sometimes, it tells a story so rare, so soft with wonder, that even seasoned gynaecologists pause… and smile.
Today, we are speaking about superfetation, that almost mythical moment when a woman becomes pregnant while already pregnant.
And yes, it sounds like the plot twist in a Nollywood film with too much imagination. And yes, it is rare, beautifully, defiantly rare, rare enough that entire generations of clinicians may never meet it face-to-face. And yet, it is possible. Because the body has always had a way of reminding us that it is both scientist and poet.
What Really Happens?
Superfetation is when a brand-new egg, freshly ovulated and newly fertilised, chooses to begin its own quiet journey after another pregnancy has already settled in.
Two babies conceived at different times. Two beginnings wrapped in one body. Two stories, parallel yet distinct, held in the same sacred room.
And you, dear woman, are not strange or supernatural. You are simply proof that biology has a sense of drama and a sense of humour.
Before We Call It Superfetation…
Because in medicine, we must honour truth before wonder, and clarity before awe. And the body has other ways of playing its little riddles.
Sometimes what looks like superfetation is really:
Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS): Where identical twins share a placenta, and one becomes the giver while the other becomes the receiver, creating striking differences in size, like siblings negotiating space in the womb.
Growth discordance in twins: Where two babies conceived at the same time simply grow at different speeds, because even womb-mates have their own ambitions.
Incorrect dating:Because ultrasound machines are brilliant, and yet brilliance still has shadows.
A missed second baby in an early scan: Sometimes one tiny heartbeat hides shyly, only to appear later, leaving everyone gasping at the sudden “new” life.
So before we whisper the word superfetation, we examine. We investigate. We hold space for science, for possibility, and for the deep courage of mothers.
And When It Truly Is Superfetation…
Then it becomes one of those rare moments that make us inhale sharply and smile with reverence.
Two babies. Two timelines.
Two beginnings braided gently into one woman’s strength.
Because the womb is not merely an organ; the womb is a storyteller.
And sometimes, it chooses to tell two stories at once each beginning with its own quiet heartbeat, each ending with a mother who discovers that her body is far more miraculous than she ever imagined.

Some of you will cook soup and oil will be swimming on top of it.
Too much oil raises your cholesterol levels, and high cholesterol heavily increases your risk of heart disease and stroke. This is why you must watch the quantity of oil you consume daily.
You are not a generator engine, stop flooding your body with oil. Watch your intake.
On average, the human adult has nearly 5.6 liters (5,600 mls) of circulating blood.
During a blood donation, ONE unit of blood is needed, which is equivalent to approximately 450 mls - 470 mls, or a pint.

Leaking urine after giving birth to a baby.
What your friend is describing is actually quite common after childbirth, especially after a vaginal birth, a large baby, prolonged labour, or multiple deliveries. It is called stress urinary incontinence, small urine leaks that happen when laughing, coughing, sneezing, exercising, or lifting something heavy. This occurs because pregnancy and childbirth can weaken the pelvic floor muscles that support the bladder.
The good news is that it is often treatable, even a year after delivery. Pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises are usually the first step and can make a significant difference when done correctly and consistently. Some women may also benefit from seeing a pelvic health physiotherapist, losing excess weight if applicable, reducing excessive caffeine intake, and treating chronic cough or constipation if present. For women whose symptoms persist despite these measures, there are other treatments available, including procedures and surgery. So while it is common, it should not simply be accepted as "part of being a mother." If the leakage is ongoing or affecting her quality of life, she should see her GP or a gynaecologist for assessment and treatment.

URGENT UPDATE: ₦92,500 RAISED — WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP.
Alhamdulillah, through the generosity of kind-hearted people, we have raised ₦92,500 towards the urgent medical needs of this young widow.
To everyone who donated, shared her story, reached out, and kept her in their prayers, we say thank you very much. May Allah reward you immensely and replace your kindness with greater blessings. Ameen.
However, we are not there yet.
She still urgently needs funds to undergo the medical tests requested by her doctors, receive wound washing and dressing, and obtain the injections and medications necessary before further treatment and surgery can proceed.
The danger of delay cannot be overstated.
This wound has already worsened because proper treatment was delayed due to financial hardship. Every additional delay increases the risk of complications, prolonged suffering, infection, and a more difficult recovery process.
Today, we appeal once again to the Ummah and all compassionate hearts: please help us complete this fundraising effort. Whatever you can give, no matter how small, will bring her closer to the treatment she desperately needs.
She is not only fighting a painful injury; she is also a widow raising three children who depend entirely on her.
Let us not leave her to face this alone.
If 142 people make donations of ₦1,000 each, we will meet our target.
