I’m used to the Fox version where Jean and Scott were together but never had enough spark for me to invest in them as endgame. Now with Emma already introduced in the MCU, I’m not rushing to ship Jean and Scott either. Who knows if they’ll go for the love triangle. I’d rather invest in Jean and Jean only. Whoever she ends up with later, let her choose.

I really hope the next X-Men explores Jean Grey’s visual transformation more. She doesn’t have an obvious physical transformation like Emma Frost or some other mutants, so they need to give her powers a distinctive visual identity. Please don’t do what Fox did and just show the same telekinesis effects over and over. Jean should look TERRIFYING when she stops holding back

HOLY FUCKING SHIT, finally someone said exactly what’s been on my mind.

I keep begging them to give Jean Grey a life outside Scott Summers and Xavier’s school. Let her have her own world, her own relationships, her own story. And if the MCU wants to do the Scott cheating with Emma Frost storyline, then set Jean FREE and let her find someone else. I’m not watching Jean suffer and fight for a man. I want her to be wanted.

And since Sadie is literally going to be in The Marriage Plot, give Jean Grey that kind of ending too. Let her be loved, let her have options, and then let her choose neither man. She doesn’t need to end up with Scott or anyone else. Let Jean choose herself and thrive.
