Not been posting much turning lately - lathe died!!! Good news.... NEW LATHE ARRIVES!!!! Here is a vase made from local Cornish Yew (felled in the village) - approx 6” tall and 3” wide - first item turned on the new lathe! #woodturner #woodturning #hobby #yew #vase #cornish

At last! After 3 frustrating months of not being able to turn anything... an experiment I have been meaning to try - a sapele bowl with pewter rim.

A neighbour gave me their old fridge - have repurposed it to create a wood drying kiln and am going to use the compressor as a vacuum pump (future project) to enable me to stabilise wood. #woodturning #kiln

Shoreham Art Gallery has an ONLINE SHOP!!
