@AndyWoodturner So sorry to hear this sad news... I was fortunate to have met Mark at my local woodturning club and he was so kind and generous with his time - answering all my โnewbieโ questions without a seconds worth of frustration or hesitation - he will be sorely missed.
@AndyWoodturner just wanted to thank you for the inspiration to attempt a wood & pewter bowl! I did reference you on my post - but still getting used to how to tag on Twitter!
At last! After 3 frustrating months of not being able to turn anything... an experiment I have been meaning to try - a sapele bowl with pewter rim.
Inspired by the works of George Foweraker, Andy Coates & Paul Hannaby.
Been experimenting again!
A neighbour gave me their old fridge - have repurposed it to create a wood drying kiln and am going to use the compressor as a vacuum pump (future project) to enable me to stabilise wood. #woodturning#kiln

Shoreham Art Gallery has an ONLINE SHOP!!
We were so sad to have to close the doors to the gallery but this makes it feel like itโs almost open again. We canโt wait to welcome people back in person soon but itโs great to have this online shop in the meantime. Hope you enjoy!
