This egret though common was very close. While attempting to click, it flew away into the shade which gave a nice reflection. Everything happens for a reason..very often for the better.

No seasons, irrespective of whether they are good or bad do not last forever. The migratory birds season is slowly ending. Here are a couple of Greenshanks (Tringa nebularia), a type of medium-sized wader often found in wetlands and coastal areas.
