Today the Hon’ble Chief Justice Bench of the Madras High Court has stayed the bye elections to 141-Tiruchirappalli (East), where Thiru C. Joseph Vijay had resigned and 12-Perambur, 103-Perundurai, 179-Viralimalai, 135-Karur and 225-Ambasamudram Assembly Constituencies, where AIADMK MLAs had resigned to join TVK.

The bench has followed law laid down by the Supreme Court that where election petitions are filed challenging the election of the candidate, and a declaration is sought that the runner up candidate should be elected, bye elections cannot be conducted till the election petition is decided.

This is because the vacancy is not a clear vacancy within the meaning of section 151-A of the RP Act.

- In 2025, the AC bus fleet was expanded by CM @mkstalin.
- CM Stalin also launched TN’s first ever electric fleet of buses.
- In 2026, before elections the Dravida model Government also introduced app based ultra premium AC gold buses.
- CM Stalin also launched first ever fully Air conditioned bus terminus at Panjapur, Trichy and fully AC bus stops at Kolathur.
- CM Stalin also launched a bus pass for unlimited travel in all buses @ ₹2000 pm.

📖Let me tell you a kutti story also about how DMK built the state transport corporation:

🚍Till 1971, buses were largely private in TN. People were unable to afford many routes. Kalaignar as CM had a vision to take over transport & make it affordable. He passed the Tamil Nadu Fleet Operators Stage Carriages (Acquisition) Act, 1971, took over private buses and established the Pallavan Transport Corporation.

Now here’s the masterstroke: Till then other States were establishing their State corporations under a Union law - Road Transport Corporation Act of 1950. This Act provided for appointment of directors by the Union government & needed Union’s approval for rule making etc.

🌄For the first time, Kalaignar registered a state transport corporation under the Companies Act and ensured that there would be complete State control over the PTC. PTC was Tamil Nadu’s.

பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளைப் பள்ளிக்கு அனுப்புவது நல்ல ஒழுக்கத்தையும் கல்வியையும் கற்கத்தான். ஆனால், ஊரான் வீட்டு நெய்யில் தங்கள் சுய புகழைப் பாட நினைக்கும் இந்த கேடுகெட்ட அரசியல், மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பாழாக்கும் செயலாகும்.

பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை இதற்கு உடனடியாக முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைக்க வேண்டும். பள்ளி வளாகங்களுக்குள் எந்தவொரு அரசியல் கட்சியின் தலைவரையோ, நடிகரையோ முன்னிறுத்தி நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடத்தக் கூடாது. மாணவர்களைத் தங்கள் அரசியல் சுயலாபத்திற்குப் பயன்படுத்தும் தவெகவினர் மீது சட்டப்பூர்வமான கடுமையான நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.

இனிமேலும் பள்ளிக்கூடங்களை அரசியல் வியாபாரக் களமாக மாற்ற நினைத்தால், தமிழ்நாட்டு பெற்றோர்களும் பொதுமக்களும் சும்மா வேடிக்கை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்க மாட்டார்கள் என எச்சரிக்கிறோம்!

சிறுபான்மையினர் உரிமைகளுக்காகவும், சமூக அமைதி - சமூகநீதி - 
சம வாய்ப்பு - சமத்துவம், எளிய மக்களுக்கான அதிகாரப் பகிர்வு உள்ளிட்ட மேலான கோட்பாடுகளை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு இயங்கி வரும் இந்திய சமூக ஜனநாயகக் கட்சி (SDPI) 18-ஆம் ஆண்டில் அடியெடுத்து வைப்பதற்கு வாழ்த்துகள்!

எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சி, அரசியல் ரீதியாகப் பல்வேறு போராட்டங்களைக் கடந்து வளர்ந்து வந்திருக்கிறது. இதன் வளர்ச்சிக்கும், ஆக்கரீதியான அரசியல் பங்களிப்புக்கும் பாடுபட்டு வரும் எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சியின் தேசியத் தலைவர்

எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சி எளிய மக்களின் மேம்பாட்டுக்காக என்றென்றும் ஊக்கத்துடன் தொடர்ந்து பாடுபட்டு வரவும், அரசியல்ரீதியாக அதன் பயணத்தை வெற்றிகரமாகத் தொடர்ந்திடவும் எனது உளமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளை மீண்டும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதோடு, சிறுபான்மை மக்கள் நலன் மீதான திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் அக்கறையும், ஆதரவும் என்றென்றும் தொடரும் என்பதையும் தோழமையுணர்வோடு இந்த நேரத்தில் உறுதிபடத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.
