At this point, terrorism and Pakistan seem inseparable—one just doesn’t exist without the other.

Major news… earlier this afternoon, Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, a Pakistani citizen residing in Canada, was extradited to the United States on charges of attempting to provide material support to ISIS and attempting to commit acts of terrorism.

In the fall of last year, Khan allegedly planned to travel from Canada to New York and carry out a mass shooting in support of ISIS at a Jewish Center in Brooklyn.

Khan allegedly planned his attack to occur on October 7, 2024 — the one year anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel.

Thankfully, the great work of FBI teams and our partners exposed those plans and shut them down — and Khan was arrested by Canadian authorities on September 4, 2024.

He has now arrived in the U.S. and will face American justice.

This case is a reminder of the constant threat of terrorism facing every corner of the world — as well as the disturbing rise in threats against our Jewish communities. Your FBI will continue to be on guard and work around the clock to counter them.

Oh please. Before every election, some random survey pops up claiming Rahul Gandhi is ahead of Modi. And then what happens? The BJP ends up sweeping the state—left, right, and center.

Take Bihar, for example. The opposition has been losing ground there in recent elections largely because of the Congress. RJD is still doing relatively well—it wins the most seats each time. It’s Congress that’s failing to pull its weight.

Rahul Gandhi, enough of the PR. Do some real work on the ground first!

The state and its machinery are often inefficient—and so are the countless branches that stem from it. But does that mean ordinary people are just expected to fend for themselves? That’s a cruel irony, especially after the government takes taxes from every working citizen.

High-rise apartment buildings—10, 20 stories tall—are legally required to have basic fire safety measures: sprinklers, extinguishers, fire escapes, and emergency protocols. If these are missing, the question isn’t just negligence—it's criminal.

Who approved these buildings? Who signed off on the plans? Who turned a blind eye during inspections? And most importantly, who is being held accountable for the lives lost? These aren’t just accidents—they're failures of responsibility at every level, and someone must answer for them.

People often forget that it's not up to us—ordinary citizens—to decide what can or cannot be implemented. In fact, there's no single authority in India that can unilaterally enforce these changes across the entire country.

Take administrative divisions, for example. India is structured in layers: Village → Gram Panchayat → Block/Tehsil/Taluk → District → Division → State → Nation. Urban areas have their own layers, with municipalities or municipal corporations in place of panchayats.

Each of these administrative levels has elected politicians who decide what changes are made and where. Once decisions are taken, it's the bureaucracy at each level that works to implement them—from clerks and PWD engineers, to state-level officers, all the way up to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Now imagine the scale: thousands of politicians, from panchayat members to MPs, and lakhs of bureaucrats at every rung of government. For any meaningful change to happen, all these people need to be on the same page—their interests, priorities, and political incentives must align. In a democracy as complex and layered as India, that kind of coordination isn’t just difficult—it’s a monumental challenge.

@IAjitDoval_IND I studied the Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Buddhacharitra as part of Hindi literature in school—across three different classes under the CBSE curriculum. So yes, it’s entirely possible to include these texts in the curriculum. It’s been done before and can easily be done again.

And then what? Hamas will still exist. They’ll continue launching rockets from civilian areas—like schools and hospital rooftops—or plan another October 7-style attack when the opportunity arises.

Right now, the most practical solution seems to be an agreement between Israel and key Arab states to take joint responsibility for policing Gaza. Someone has to guarantee that Gaza won’t be used as a launchpad for future attacks against Israel.

The BJP is set to come to power for a fourth time, unless the opposition launches a revolutionary nationwide campaign, and that too starting yesterday. However, neither Congress nor the opposition in general seem to have any clear vision or strategy. Furthermore, they lack the financial resources to compete with the BJP’s PR machinery. The opposition is simply too lackluster to pose a serious challenge.
