More Videos Emerge in PSI-MLA’s Daughter Altercation Case; No Arrest Yet

More videos of the altercation between woman PSI Savita B. Patil and Aishwarya, daughter of BJP MLA B. Suresh Gowda, at the Arathi Ukkada temple in Srirangapatna, Mandya, have now emerged.

The incident took place on Bhima Amavasya over an argument regarding entry into the sanctum sanctorum. The newly surfaced videos show the two women engaging in a physical altercation in front of the temple.

Following the incident, PSI Savita Patil filed a complaint at the Kyathanahalli police station. A counter-complaint was also reportedly submitted, but allegations were raised that it was not accepted by the police.

Despite the emergence of multiple videos of the incident, Mandya police have not made any arrests so far.

Ishan Kishan is a terrific cricketer who has just essayed an amazing international comeback.
He has also made almost a 100 crores just from IPL fees, not counting international duty and endorsements. This cheque is not a 100th of what he has already made and he's not the greedy sort.
So one can only assume this was literally a payout for a photo-op with him to ensure that the others in the picture got into the papers and all over social media.
Obviously, why spend one crore of government money on creating facilities or training centres or bankrolling poor athletes when you can instead use it to create a photo op by paying the one of the few athletes from your state who really does not need the money!
And that's why sport in India is where it is.

Caste census to be redone to dispel doubts over sanctity of data.

Today, CM Shri @siddaramaiah and I met with Leader of Opposition Shri @RahulGandhi avaru, AICC President Shri @kharge avaru, AICC General Secretaries Shri @kcvenugopalmp avaru and Shri @rssurjewala avaru to discuss key developments in Karnataka.

We discussed:
- The current political situation
- The tragic incident at the stadium
- Party organisation
- Caste census

The leadership has suggested exploring a re-enumeration process within 60–90 days, to ensure fairness and inclusivity. The CM will share further details soon.

Karnataka is committed to social justice. We stand by the decisions of the Congress party and will move forward to establish a transparent model where every section of society is protected.

My article in @the_hindu: Historical research suggests that Sambhaji was a competent ruler and warrior, and not morally deficient and weak as portrayed in biased historical accounts.

But in portraying this story, it descends into a dangerous national-level propaganda of Hindus vs. Muslims, and Indians vs. foreigners, far from the 17th century reality.
