I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all.

The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field.

If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use.

This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live.

🚨Nicholas Kristof, grand reporter au New York Times, signe une enquête qui va faire mal. Très mal. Sa question finale, il l'emprunte à Netanyahu lui-même, celle que le Premier ministre israélien lançait au monde après le 7 octobre : « Where the hell are you ? » Aujourd'hui, Kristof la lui retourne. Et elle tombe comme un couperet.

L'article est accablant. Des Palestiniens, hommes, femmes, enfants, sont violés systématiquement par des soldats, des colons, des gardiens de prison. Des viols avec des matraques, des carottes, des bâtons. Des chiens dressés pour pénétrer des détenus. Des hommes qui urinent du sang après qu'on leur ait ligoté les testicules. Des femmes dénudées, battues, giflées, présentées comme un trophée à chaque relève de garde. Des enfants menacés qu'on leur enfonce un bâton dans le cul s'ils ne coopèrent pas.

Ce n'est pas une exception. C'est une politique. Un rapport de l'ONU parle de « procédure opérationnelle standard ». Une pratique généralisée, encouragée par l'impunité totale. Ben-Gvir traite les détenus de « raclures » et « nazis ». Netanyahu qualifie les poursuites contre des soldats violeurs de « blood libel » et les réhabilite. Et les États-Unis ? Ils appellent ça 'de simples allégations'. Allégations. Qu'ils aillent dire ça aux enfants qui ont vu des chiens les monter.

La question de Netanyahu, « Where the hell are you ? », Kristof la retourne : où étiez-vous pour les Palestiniens ? Où sont les condamnations ? Où sont les sanctions ? Où sont les ambassadeurs qui se déplacent avec des caméras ? Où sont les suspensions d'aide militaire ?

Nulle part. Parce que les victimes ne sont pas les bonnes. Parce qu'être Palestinien, c'est être une victime de seconde zone. Parce que l'Occident a choisi son camp, celui du violeur plutôt que du violé.

Et bien sûr, la hasbara est aux abois. « l’article le plus antisémite des temps modernes ». Leur seul argument : crier au loup pour qu'on ne regarde pas leurs monstres. Mais les victimes, elles, ne crient pas. Elles saignent.

An Italian reporter, Gabriele Nunziati, was dismissed by the Nova news agency after asking a European Commission spokesperson whether Israel should pay to rebuild Gaza, similar to calls for Russia to pay for rebuilding Ukraine.

The agency claimed his question showed a misunderstanding of international law and caused “embarrassment” after the clip went viral.

I relatori Onu seguono le regole dell'Onu che non chiama Hamas organizzazione terrorista. Non chiama terrorista nemmeno Israele che ha ucciso molti più civili.
L'Onu condanna i crimini di entrambi. La differenza è che uno è l'occupante da oltre mezzo secolo, l'altro l'occupato.

Francesca Albanese è costretta rispondere a un corsivo sul Corriere, mirante a un pubblico anziano e conservatore, che si basava quasi interamente su un video decontestualizzato, diffuso da una aggressiva lobby pro-Netanyahu, Un Watch:

«Gentile Direttore,
scrivo in risposta all’articolo di Goffredo Buccini, pubblicato il 19 agosto sul Corriere della Sera («Lo strabismo che spalanca le carriere»).

Il pezzo si fonda su un frammento di 40 secondi, estrapolato e «riadattato» ad arte da UNWatch, organizzazione tanto nota quanto screditata per le sue campagne diffamatorie contro chiunque denunci gli abusi dello Stato di Israele. Non esistono funzionari Onu, intellettuali o voci critiche impegnate sulla Palestina che non ne siano stati prima o poi bersaglio; nel mio caso, la denigrazione ossessiva è proporzionale all’incisività del mio lavoro.

Quel frammento, tratto da una presentazione del mio libro Quando il mondo dorme a Catania, è stato usato per sostenere che io avrei espresso simpatia per Hamas, con l’azzardato paragone a chi giustificava, nel Novecento, Hitler, Stalin o Mussolini. Nulla di più falso.

L’ascolto dei tre minuti del passaggio de quo (facilmente reperibile online) — richiesto come diligenza minima a chi esercita il mestiere di giornalista — sarebbe stato sufficiente a cogliere il senso autentico delle mie parole e del ragionamento ad esse sotteso, anziché affidarsi alla «frankensteinizzazione» del mio pensiero operata da UNWatch.

Lungi dall’esprimere apprezzamento per Hamas, il riferimento alle elezioni vinte nel 2005, al suo governo «di fatto», a scuole e ospedali, mirava a denunciare la logica imposta da Israele post-7 ottobre: considerare legittimo bersaglio chiunque lavori in un’amministrazione gestita da Hamas, incluso medici, maestri, vigili urbani, con rispettivi case, famiglie, luoghi di vita e preghiera.

Una logica aberrante alla quale mi oppongo fermamente, perché la stessa, per analogia, porterebbe a considerare colpibili anche i civili israeliani in quanto soldati attivi o riservisti. Io invece ribadisco che i civili — tutti i civili — vanno protetti, senza eccezioni.

Come si evince chiaramente dall’intervento, non ho mai nutrito alcuna simpatia per Hamas, che ho criticato accanitamente in più occasioni, fin da quando constatai di persona già nel 2010 la sua stretta autoritaria su Gaza. Ma nulla può giustificare la carneficina a Gaza, né tantomeno un’occupazione permanente divenuta apartheid e oggi genocidio, sotto gli occhi del mondo.

Confido che il Corriere della Sera voglia attenersi agli standard di rigore e verificabilità attesi dal principale quotidiano italiano. Da parte mia resto convinta che la discussione sul futuro della Palestina e del diritto internazionale esiga rigore, responsabilità e integrità».

The absolute incapacity of Western leaders to enforce intl law when it comes to Israel is EPIC.

Ministers, Prime Ministers, Presidents of Republic:

Doing NOTHING, diverting attention, sanctioning individual ministers IS NOT enforcing the intl law that was developed after the Holocaust and WWII to prevent another Holocaust and WWII.

At this critical point,
Your states have a CLEAR obligation to:
1. Sanction Israel
2. Impose a total arms embargo (no buy, no sell, no transfer, direct or indirect)
3. Break the siege (send navies instead of dropping food on the head of starving genocide survivors)
4. Suspend all trade agreements with Israel till the end of the genocide, occupation and apartheid.
5. Investigate and prosecute individuals and orgs that have committed crimes in the oPt.
