Considering how loud his still support is, and how little the decent people are doing to fight this abomination, is it even worth trying to save anymore?
Don’t forget when Rome was collapsing emperors would use Gladiator fights to distract the people from the Corruption of the State at that time! This is all starting to make sense now. Who agrees?
Allow me to be the first to congratulate the MAGA morons, who spent years howling about the $1.7B that Obama returned to Iran.
Your 4D chess master is handing Iran $300B, to open the Strait of Hormuz, that Obama kept open for free.
Brilliant!
@JonFlynnREstats What happens to bag holders if a crash happens?
More importantly what happens to banks if hundreds of thousands walk away from mortgages - banks will lose huge but guess who will be on the hook to make them whole…
@Shane_Peterson@yegwave Source?
And we get nothing?
Also you think paying for your own country (defense/borders/passports/other things) would be cheaper - while of course continuing to subsidize O&G for 2B) while UCP giving away money to their inner circle for charter schools and Turkish Tylenol?
Alberta separatists trying to become a landlocked independent state surrounded by Canadians who would have zero sympathy for them and an American state that would want to beat them into submission as a client-state is one of the funniest bad ideas in all of recorded history.
Albertans now pay highest UTILITY costs, highest INSURANCE costs, get poorest health care, pay higher kindergarten costs, and have the highest student teacher ratios in Canada,as well as getting the lowest return of royalties from thier oil and gas ,and the UCP deny its their fault
Best Darren Dutchyshen line of all time!
After Daniel Sedin and his wife had a baby. "I don't want to start any rumours, but he looks an awful lot like Henrik." (Daniel and Henrik are twins)
Darren John Dutchyshen (December 19, 1966 – May 15, 2024) was a Canadian sportscaster who spent seven years in Edmonton, hosting Sports Night on ITV, where I watched him first. On September 9, 2021, he announced that he had prostate cancer, and detailed it in full a year later in his first show back at SportsCentre.
Darren Dutchyshen died on May 15, 2024, at the age of 57 and is missed by all, and remembered here today. 💔
Seems like @ABDanielleSmith & the UCP are following a playbook!
These fascist actions don’t happen overnight but intentionally made in small incremental steps
It allows opposition to be labeled as overreactive or fear mongering (like Notley was)

@punt_rd Sad reality of snorkeling in great white infested waters. They usually don’t see us as “food” but some of them will try test bites to make sure first.
Had this been a “feeding” there would have been nothing to recover.
🟥BREAKING🟥
Studies have shown premature separation is a common problem affecting around 17% of the population in Alberta.
Side effects include depression, anger, and an obsession with Justin Trudeau.
