This “we are Gen Z” has become the new “jaantay nahin ho mera baap kaun hai”. The quickest way to erode any Gen Z goodwill is to start using it as a threat at the slightest perceived affront.
Azharuddin was loved by Indians and was made captain, but moment he got caught in match-fixing:
“I’m targeted for my religion.”
Hamid Ansari stayed at top posts, later became VP. Nobody objected. Moment his tenure completed:
“Musalman dara hua hai.”
Sanjay Dutt, a top actor, loved by the masses. The moment he got arrested in the 1992 Mumbai blast–related cases:
“I’m targeted because my mother was a Muslim.”
Aryan Khan, a superstar’s son. Living a private life, loved by superstar fans. The moment he got arrested in drug-related cases:
“He is targeted for being a Muslim.”
AR Rahman, one of the most loved composers in India. The moment his work dried up because his kind of music faded and he didn’t put in enough effort to catch up:
“I think I get less work for communal reasons.”
All the achievements are only theirs; failures aren’t. Failures are of the people who “target them for their religion". Bro, you were of the same religion when people were loving, celebrating, and supporting you. If religion were an issue, you wouldn’t have got the fame, money, and idolatry, but you never acknowledge that. When everything is going right, religion is invisible. It appears only when accountability begins.
Everyone knows what this chap did, and why he did it. But you can expect pin drop silence from all self claimed saviours of Sikhism and SGPC in particular. All the hate is reserved for Hindus. We all know why.
Emergency-like situation in Punjab, electricity cut and raids unleashed on major newspapers like Punjab Kesari for daring to publish news against @ArvindKejriwal & his peon @BhagwantMann
Mr @narendramodi are you trying to create a Viksit Bharat or a "Deep Shit Bharat"?
A person who scores "Minus 40" out of 800 marks deserves a kick in his ass not a PG seat in a medical college.
Only India can have a qualified doctor with -40 marks in PG NEET exams
This is happening because of our outdated Constitution and the rotten, defunct policy of caste-based reservation.
In NEET-PG 2025, candidates with scores as low as –40 out of 800 are allowed to participate in PG counselling.
The merit cutoff has fallen so low that a negative score is now considered qualifying.
A serious crisis in academic standards.
Low cut-off, reservation, grace marks fine, debate all that. But how do you justify giving a medical licence to someone who scored negative marks? –40 out of 800?
This is not empowerment.
This is sheer idiocy and a direct destruction of our medical system, which is already struggling...
I don’t think even such a doctor’s own family members would trust them for treatment.
And here we are, a score of -40/800 can get you a doctor’s Post grad degree. Imagine to fill up seats the kind of specialists the nation will be churning out into a system dealing with human lives.
Our education system really needs to do better to address the shortage!
If a person gets into MBBS through reservation and, even after 5½ years of medical training, still can’t secure basic qualifying marks for PG, forcing PG cutoffs to be pushed down to minus 40, then reservation at the MBBS level was pointless. It didn’t empower anyone.
