When my dad had his heart attack, we immediately drove to hospital after out of hours said they would call us back. Upon our return the GP called and agreed an ambulance would have been too late.

We were very lucky, but the NHS needs support.

At 1658 on November 18th Ann made the first of 3 desperate 999 calls for her husband Martin who she thought was having a heart attack
