Zero Knowledge Proofs can be used by hash and the person’s data to prove claims are true without revealing the data to the Service Provider. The output of the smart contract can be trusted as it contains the Service Provider’s business logic and is executed with verified data.
Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) makes this new paradigm possible when combined with Zero Knowledge Proofs. Service Providers can trust the logic through a smart contract and smart contract can verify the authenticity of the data that the person provides against the issuer
The smart contract can verify the authenticity of the data that the person provides against the issuer using Zero Knowledge Proofs, this allows the Service Provider to trust the output of the smart contract without seeing the persons data.
Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) are a way to prove that something is true without revealing what the data is. Zero Knowledge Proofs together with high assurance government and financial services information and identity schemes, to reduce cost and risk, whilst creating net new value
The current implementation of subarray check is too expensive and takes most of the difference (the 12M constraints minus above totals). It is used in check server pubkey is part of tbs1 and expected data is in server response.
In short, Zero-Knowledge Proof provides a way to verify some calculation of private, or expensive, or both, has happened. With cutting edge algorithms, the verification is cheap, and it is cheap no matter how expensive the original computation.
