The Namaz congregations on Eid everywhere were dignified, sober and cute. Devotees dressed in white and with their heads covered, little children decked up for the occasion and people greeting each other by embracing each other. It would take place early in the morning and disperse quickly. By 10 pm there would be no trace of the crowd because they had to go home, visit friends, feed the poor.
Contrast this with the boisterous and noisy devotees of 'some other faith' (if I write Hindu, trolls would start abusing, I guess--which is again something that is unique along with DJs, dancing like every devotee is Govinda or brandishing swords, spears, tridents--like in Ram Navami.
I am not a believer but I do pray. Everywhere. In a church, outside a temple, while driving past a mosque or a mazaar or a synagogue. I like the temples in South India, which are more serene and peaceful. And my prayers to the good lord is always the same. May the almighty ensure peace and prosperity for everyone. My faith is often shaken by seeing the poverty and suffering all around me and every time I visit a public hospital or a bazaar in India. But I draw inspiration from both Muslims and Sikhs, who do not discriminate, who do not hate, who help the poor. A visit to a Gurudwara, a church and a mosque is never a frightening experience. Just the opposite. This year on Bakr-i-Eid I pray for good sense and respect for fellow human beings to prevail.

Two of India’s sharpest politicians just proved something Rahul Gandhi has been saying for years. And neither of them meant to.
Raghav Chadha — ICA qualified, articulate, camera-ready.
Joined BJP after 15 years in AAP using a constitutional loophole.
Shashi Tharoor — PhD, Oxford, UN career, probably the most eloquent Indian in a room.
Praised Modi’s anti-terrorism policies. BJP’s media celebrated him. He called it “pro-India.”
Two men. Peak qualifications. Peak communication. Zero ideological spine.
And this is the part nobody says out loud;
Ideology isn’t a quality. It’s the only quality that matters.
Degrees tell you HOW to argue.
Personality tells you HOW to charm.
Communication tells you HOW to perform.
Ideology tells you WHY you’re in the room at all.
Without it, you’re just a talented man looking for the most comfortable side.
Raghav found his. Tharoor is still warming up to his.
Then there is Rahul Gandhi.
No constitutional loopholes. No praises for the authoritarian regime. No skipping strategy meetings because he felt disrespected.
Just Bharat Jodo on foot; 4,000 km. In the cold. In the heat. When nobody believed.
Just walking into Parliament; against a majority that mocks him, and saying “I will not yield” on minority rights. And not yielding.
Just forcing a caste census out of a government that never wanted it.
Raghav had the talent. Tharoor has the words. BJP has the power.
Rahul has something none of them have; a reason that hasn’t changed since day one.
That’s not charisma. That’s not education. That’s ideology. And in a country fighting for its Constitution, that is the only currency that actually holds value.
The fight against RSS-BJP’s tyranny doesn’t need the most brilliant speaker. It needs the one person who refuses to leave the battlefield.
That person is Rahul Gandhi. And that’s exactly why they’ve spent a decade trying to destroy him; because they know ideology without ego is the one thing their money and machinery cannot buy.

By far the Most Intriguing & Most Logical Speech in RS by @ShayarImran
His choice of words & polite language, makes his speech even more impressive.
Soft as Flower & blunt as thorn, No Godi Anchor Will Dare to Listen this Speech.
@LauraLoomer@sardesairajdeep It seems you are now desperate to gain the support of Hindu majority followers to divert public anger and current social media trends against you.
@atulkasbekar don't change playing xi at this crucial juncture. who knows this coming match might turn abhishek luck. its a team game and combination is the key. overall we are winning that's what matters at the end.
@CricketCentrl I wonder why Abhishek and Bumrah were not rested today given India already qualified for Super8. I may look biased if I ask for Sanju and Siraj to be in 11. If not them, anybody else could've got an opportunity.
IMO Bumrah chasing milestones than match criticality.
