Preferencing the reproductive rights of women over right to life since puberty. I sleep like a baby. I don't support gender ideology. #johnnydeppisawifebeater

1/Please share this thread on behalf of my physician colleague, Eunice Stallman, who is facing the nightmare of her 9mo daughter, Zoey, being diagnosed with brain cancer several weeks ago. @BlueCrossIdaho has added to their anguish by obstructing access to vital treatment.
@leng_cath@bindelj@ImWatson91 The fact of the matter is if you are an attractive girl with an agreeable/open personality type, men make your puberty a sh*tshow.
Every year more than 20,000 pregnancies in the U.S. result in a stillbirth, but not all of these tragedies were inevitable. As many as one in four stillbirths are potentially preventable. https://t.co/AjmrRStn0Z
All over Paris car parking spaces are being upgraded to plots for trees and micro gardens - cooling the city, cleaning the air & making the streets more pleasant for people - thanks to the vision & tenacity of city's mayor...
@exxsterr The funny thing about it all is JK Rowling said it in one tweet right at the start. You can call yourself what you like. You can dress however you want. You can have sex with any adult. But men are not women and never will be.
@exxsterr Trans ideology is the emperor's new clothing, which is why it is so virulently invested in shutting down debate. It disguises this tactic under the banner of human rights, which is morally abhorrent to me. It's DARVO and mass-scale abuse of women and children.
This idiocy of "sex as a spectrum" needs to end. The proper framework to think of sex/gender in a way that comports both with biological reality and lived experience is this:
• Sex itself not a spectrum, it's a biologically immutable binary. You are either male or female, period, there simply is no in between.
"BuT hOw dO YoU DeFiNe sEx?" The idiots say, pretending like this isn't extremely well established science. You see, there are several markers for determining sex, each one highly accurate. By using just two - chromosomes and gamete production - we can determine the sex of any human with close to 100% accuracy. This is why any qualified lab can determine the sex of an individual using just a blood sample or cheek swab; our sex is imprinted in the DNA of every cell in our body.
"BuT InTeRsEx PpL eXiS...." I'm gonna me stop you right there. Intersex ppl (more appropriately known as ppl with DSD's) all exist within the sex binary. Some DSD's only affect males, others only affect females, but all exist WITHIN the sex binary.
• Gender (which we can define as a collection of socially constructed sex-based stereotypes) on the other hand, IS a spectrum, but it too exists within the sex binary.
In other words, sex/gender doesn't exist on *A* spectrum, it exists on two separate and distinct spectrums that do not overlap. This understanding of the sex/gender binary spectrums comports well within the established scientific understanding of biological sex, while also allowing for the incredible variance within each sex binary that we see in the world around us.
Take males, for instance: you can be any type of male. You can be an extremely masculine male, an extremely feminine male, or anything in between. You can wear a dress, pants, or nothing. You can identify as a man, a woman, or a jar of mayonnaise, but you will always be a male. If you are an adult on the male spectrum, the vast majority of society will see you as what we colloquially call "a man", regardless of how you prefer to think of yourself.
And thank God for that variance within the binary. How boring would the world be if we were all the same? But it's entirely possible to both value diversity within our species while still observing objective reality. I would say it's crucial even. A society that gaslights and lies to itself about easily observable reality is a disaesed one, and is only setting itself for catastrophic failure somewhere down the line.
